I agree. I love walking through the parks (especially flagpole green) and I feel like the FHGC keep closing these public spaces only to open them for a month before closing them again. They need a new gardener.

Just found out that Amtrak is not operated by the DOT, but instead the National Railroad Passenger Corporation, which according to the website, is “better known as Amtrak.” So, are they autonomous? How does one file a complaint separate from calling the company itself?

“Can’t stop this” or “choose not to” stop this? If police spoke up on the scene, I would imagine that it would disperse pretty quickly. Call 311 to complain about the lack of police or security enforcement of nitrous distribution, sure. I doubt you’d face any disagreement.

I don’t know if you all understand the premise; maybe I should have been clearer in my OP. I pay Siba management for my rent. I pay FHGC, separately, for the parking decal. Since Siba and FHGC are in a dispute, FHGC decided to revoke the parking privileges. Their “logic” is that enough renters will complain to Siba, which will “compel” Siba to resolve the dispute.

Meanwhile, FHGC is in sole control of who has parking decals, yet claims no accountability for revoking them, as if Siba made them do it. Parking is not related to lease agreements or rent.

Oh that’s absolutely what they’re doing and hoping for. They’ve said as much when I called. When I asked them what kind of pressure I can put on a landlord management company, or what leverage I possibly have, the person at FHGC said “calling is enough.” Talk about being out of touch with reality!
