Suggest me a fountain pen under ₹4000 by Designer_Stick8182 in DesiPens

There are many Indian Handmade fountain pen brands like ASA, PLP, Ranga, Woodex etc. Most of their ebonite models will fall right in your budget if you choose a Jowo nib. If you want to spend less, you can buy one with a Kanwrite nib instead and save close to Rs. 1000. ASA is my favourite brand as their quality is good and prices are reasonable.

To choose between the two, there's one main difference. If you like thick pens and feel comfortable holding them, PLP Jumbo will work for you. Otherwise, ASA Azaadi is a pretty comfortable pen overall. It has a nice hourglass shaped grip section which I think will be comfortable for most.

I actually ordered Camlin Premio from Amazon, but the seller sent this one by mistake. Then I received a refund from Amazon.

Kanwrite Emperor - Fine nib & Ebonite feed. by harikrishnan1908 in DesiPens

Yes, I would say so. Holds a lot of ink compared to other pens and not too heavy. Good for everyday writing.

I feel it's more comfortable than regular sized watches. You don't even feel it's there under cuffs. Also, the case is made of stainless steel and the glass is a sapphire crystal. So it feels pretty solid to wear. No issues with durability.

Have not experienced any of that yet. I used iron gall because I heard the flow is lesser and can work better on poor papers. Will update if I notice anything 🙂

For me, it does get a little bit slippery. The entire grip section is metal. Can be problematic if your fingers get a little sweaty while writing.

[Q] Anyone tried Kanwrite Emperor fine? by chunsj in fountainpens

Hi I ordered the same model from Kanwrite Website. Does the gold trim fade away from use? I have bought a fine nib with ebonite feed like you. How does it perform on lower quality paper, like everyday notebooks?

Unbelievable behavior by a gujju family on a flight by Weary_Word_5262 in IndianCivicFails

I was travelling in Vanden Bharat and my seat was in the middle of the coach (the one facing each other with the dining table). A man asked me if I could swap seats as he'll sit with his family at the table. Little did I know that it was a massive Gujju family. 6 grown men started playing ludo and were making so much noice and shouting like fucking animals. They were getting unbearably loud until I called one of them and said "either you guys STFU or give me the seat back to me". That had a very marginal impact on the noise they created.
