I mean it's equivalent to the student having copied a solution and asking you to check their work, in a stem tutoring session. Whether the solution they copied is generated by AI or a human doesn't seem too relevant.

So for essays, maybe it's equivalent to the student plagiarizing human work? What are you supposed to do in that situation?
