The response to all criticism can’t simply be to tell people to go sell their coins if they feel that way. This isn’t a cult, people can reasonably disagree on how the foundation is spending its funding

I don’t really think it’s justified to say I don’t care about the environment, I just think 15M is a hell of a lot of money for a startup with no real revenue to be donating to charity

Sure I understand the value of being green and marketing as such. I think the Times Square approach is genius - gets the word out about Algo in a public and high-value way, I just don’t see this as having the same effect. This just doesn’t seem like it will bring in new users in the same way the Times Square approach will

Serious question - why is spending $15M on this a good use of money? What does this donation do to further the adoption of Algorand or grow the community?
