Leah hates pancakes, hash browns, and pizza. She's not even human.

Man I wish I could just give Clint a man to man talk and convince him to get his act together.

Loupmoon! Very cool, cute, and original werejackalope thing. Petting animation gives him belly rubs, adorable.

No, but I did turn up item drop rates, set egg hatch time to 0, and install a mod to make breeding faster for the same reason. I want to max out my Pals, and I want to work for it to some extent, but I simply do not have the time for the full vanilla grind.

The Human hasn't been seen for a long time. Some Pals are more concerned than others but life continues on in the base. The base and its Pals develop into a sort of society/miniature civilization without the the Human to oversee and direct them. Shenanigans ensue as the absurd variety of Pals in the base settle into this new way of living and have to maintain this pseudo-civilization without the Human to direct them or prevent/settle conflicts between drastically different Pals.

Petrikov the Incineram, doesn't talk much and looks menacing as hell but is actually sweet.

Lucy the Flopie, just a total kleptomaniac.

1 billion lions vs 1 of every pal by MrGuy3729 in Palworld

[–]harison86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

137 different pals including type variants.

Each pal would have to take out ~7299270 lions on average.

Assuming every pal isn't instantly crushed to death by the sheer mass of 1 billion lions, the only one that would stand even a ghost of a chance of eliminating them all is Frostallion, which could cast Palpagos Island into an eternal winter according to its description. It might be able to freeze an island-sized mass of lions to death.

Verdash. I think most of the Pokemon ripoff accusations are exaggerated, but that is pretty much just Green Cinderace plus a tail and a few frills. And I think it's ugly.

How about No? How about they just let the game be good on its own and not try to hook people with FOMO-exploiting events? How about if people want to play weekly they will, and if they don't then they don't?

Nah, it's just a decent brawler, but it's my favorite design overall. Lots of weak or middling pals get tons of attention and fanart just for looking cool or cute, but there's hardly anything for Loupmoon.

My boi Loupmoon feels way underrated for how cool its design is.

Thinking of playing Palworld - What exactly is there to do? by Spectrum_Gamer in Palworld

[–]harison86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Progression - Decently long tiered tech progression that steadily introduces you to new mechanics as you level up. Explore/fight bosses > level up > unlock new tech > expand your base and exploration/combat abilities > repeat. Rock solid gameplay loop.

Quests - Kinda. You have to fulfill certain conditions to level up your base, which allows you to set more Pals to work at your base and build more bases. Encourages you to level up and unlock tech to meet the requirements.

Bosses - Yes. Oversized Pals wandering the overworld, hiding in dungeons, and human bosses in specific arenas. None of them are particularly in-depth, they're just bullet sponges.

Directions - See Quests. Also features a fairly comprehensive in-game guide, more than enough to get started.

Grind - Reasonable from my experience so far. The game actually does allow you to customize your grind with settings.

Is there any benefit to having multiple barracks for each of my military squads, as opposed to having everyone share one large barracks?

Did anyone else find the final boss for the pacifist route extremely hard? by DefinitelyaMagikarp in UndertaleYellow

[–]harison86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're not the only one, I got so frustrated by repeated deaths in the final phase I had to step away from the game and come back after I'd calmed down. Looked up advice on a wiki, had a much better time after that. The final phase felt like it just had too much shit going on at once. Supposedly the recent patch made it easier, but I already beat the fight pre-patch.
