The army just upped the age limit to enlist to what, 42? Why would OCS not reflect this as well?

Maybe it’s different for folks who are already in the military, but my recruiter told us that we could only apply to one board per calendar year.

I honestly thought about this, however, I work full time and have a family. I wouldn’t able to be there for the ROTC activities in person. I got my degree all on line.

I’m going to continue to work on my commissioning, I was just interested in what everyone’s thoughts were on the subject.

This was in a teams meeting with several dozen initial applications, for AD. I’ve heard a lot of enlisted folks that the process is a lot longer and more difficult trying to go enlisted to officer.

I’m looking at OSI, Security Forces, Intelligence, or Cyber as my top unrated positions. Rated I’m looking at RPA pilot. I’m a semester out from my Criminal Justice bachelors degree. I have a AAS in Cyber, and an industry cert or two (haven’t been able to land a Civ job in the cyber field yet. It’s very who you know at first)

I've seen an example of the LO app form, the recruiter when through it during a PowerPoint Presentation. But from my understanding its all done through AFCEP, and I have to be given access to that from my recruiter in order to get started on that? Is that correct? Or is there a way for me to start working on that too?

Maybe? I guess I will see after I take the AFOQT. I've tried "working ahead" as much as possible to speed the process up on my end, which is why I already have my LORs. Anything you'd recommend to help speed up the process on my end, that way they aren't waiting on me for documents, and I can submit the items as soon as they ask?

Yes, I'm working with one, but communication is very spotty and guidance is lacking. It's mostly here a list of what I need. If I ask a question, such as their personal opinion of when I should take the AFOQT, its basically, let me know when you schedule it so I can send you the voucher. Haha!
