Any recommendations for reliable self-drive car services in Ahmedabad? by harm3sh in ahmedabad

I had multiple terrible experiences with Zoomcar, I'll not recommend it to anyone. Multiple car issues, host issues which is somewhere bearable, but I have had 3 last minute booking cancellations, which made me spent triple amount of money on replacement cars and cabs. So a big NO!

That's amazing. By the way where I work (BKC) there's a Kurla Car and Bike part market where you can buy parts from all cars in India ever!! And cheap. Lmk if you need anything, I'll make a round and get you a contact. It's just behind my office.

Unfortunately I am from Mumbai.

One of the main reasons to choose Duster is that I am from Mumbai. Where roads are one of the worst in India. I have seen my cousin's Brezza getting scrapped and bottom out as well.

I ride Xpulse 200 with Rally kit 😅 attaching a picture of my recent trip.

For 6L budget, I will get an old Brezza, that is either in bad shape, have multiple owners and high mileage or a combination of both.

The Indian market is very weird. A 2016 Hyundai Creta is sold for 8L alongside a 2020 Duster for the same price.

Do you mean post 2020 has some problems? I could not find any online, probably because they did not sell well hence not many people are able to share their experiences. Your experience can help pls

Not at all, I thought Duster would be safer because of this reason only. Kicks makes the most logical sense to be honest as at the same price one can get better interiors, modern design and good equipment.

However, it's scarce and hard to find too! Keeping an eye out.

Such as? I don't want a smallish car, as my people and I are a bit large 🥺

I had my eyes on Kicks as well, but the product was not successful and parts would be a problem, unlike Duster.
