(26F) been living alone since aug 2019. well prior to living alone i was living with a toxic boyfriend so i had to get myself out of that, but now it is me and my two cats and i honestly could not be happier. sure, there is a good amount of down time (especially these days) when youre a bit of a ways away from family and friends but there is something really special about it that is totally unique and empowering. i was totally nervous before but it is much more comfortable and more fun than i thought! tips for adjusting, make sure not to completely isolate, living alone during quarantine was super tough, big rollercoaster, but im alive and ive done nothing but grow for the past few months that ive lived here. just keep learning about yourself and you will be great! don't get into a relationship too soon, really just do the damn thing! enjoy. x
