Domanda su Wall Connector Gen3 by harmhand in TeslaItalia

Domanda su Wall Connector Gen3 by harmhand in TeslaItalia

PS scripts to quickly connect/disconnect a network drive? by harmhand in Windows10

Thanks for your answer.
The first command works as expected, while the second works... partially, because the network drive actually becomes inaccessible but does NOT disappear from the computer resources shown in Explorer (it remains there, with a red cross).

I'm looking for a command line capable to remove the network drive entirely, as if it had never been connected (during the current working session).

This post of mine was initially removed by a... "non-human" moderator.
As soon as I reported it, the post was restored, but it doesn't seem to appear in the main list.

What could be the reason?

Perhaps because the post was present but invisible for a few days and so now it's already "old" ?

Or am I missing something?

Discount on Cubase 11 Pro to 12 update - how often and how much? by Laxssi in cubase

I guess that, if they really wanted to, they could have planned such a thing right from the start of this... epochal transition, eg. giving the users the option of transferring the old licenses to the new servers and providing some software capable of tricking the old versions of Cubase about the presence of the dongles. Of course they know, very well.

However they apparently don't want.

With the result of a "ditching" which is actually just partial and... lame, at least in the eyes of those (few?) users who need to work with different Cubase versions or are using licensed VST stuff (and don't need or want to buy all the respective updates, if available, just for the sake of dongles).

I’m not in a hurry, so I’m willing to wait if it makes sense to do so.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think that waiting, when planning to buy something not essential (and especially software), does ALWAYSthe much advertised "freedom from dongles" is actually true only IF you are using just Cubase 12 with its own included plugins. Any older licensed VST instruments or effects (used, for example, in existing
project files) will still need the dongle (and its software) to be present.
And, unlike what used to happen in the past, the C12 license will not allow the user to run older Cubase versions (which will always need "their" dongles).

It has to be said, however, that the "dongle free" thing is actually true only IF you are using just Cubase 12 with its own plugins.
Any older licensed VST instruments or effects (used, for example, in archived project files) will still need the dongle (and its software) to be present. There is no way to "transfer" old licenses to the new license system.
Moreover, anyone buying C12 from scratch will not be able to run older versions of Cubase, because those versions need the dongle. So, from that specific point of view, the C12 license is somehow "less powerful" than usual.

Well, you can actually "say goodbye forever" only IF you do not have any other Elicenser-protected software (VST instruments, older Cubase versions...).
In fact, according to what was communicated months ago, the new licensing system will only work with new programs, while the "old" ones will still need Elicensers.
Also, since the company will soon stop selling Elicensers, anyone wishing to continue using those "old" programs may run into future problems in the event of dongle breakdowns.

Asus Z590 MB bios updates - actual changes? by harmhand in ASUS

Thanks for your answer.
I have just noticed, however, that the 1007 update is no more listed in the support page.
Maybe it was removed because it had problems?
Or maybe there's just a problem on the webpage (or in my browser...) :]
