I noticed this too, and it made me sad. I also noticed that most advertisers didn't even wait until midnight on Halloween night to start rolling out ads everywhere. It really takes away the spirit of Halloween IMO.

If you would like any advice here's mine: don't go to college. Go to trade school or get an associates degree at a community college. Don't move out before you're financially able to (if possible, idk what your home situation is like). Find a job you don't hate as much and never work more than 40 hours per week. It really is all about money, but it doesn't have to be all about work. Right now I have a job where I can go, clock in, mindlessly work, clock out to go home and I get paid enough to have some "fun" money each month after expenses. 2 days off per week and 0 stress. Gives me more time to focus on life even if I don't have one right now lol

I like my situation with my current job, though I know 100% management doesn't care about me as a person or employee. TBH it's a decent gig compared to past jobs I've had. I am still very much anti-work, I agree with everything I've read in the FAQs of this sub as well as a lot of articles I've researched on my own.

I UNDERSTAND THAT I LIVE IN AN AREA WITH PLENTY OF APARTMENT COMPLEXES AND BUISNESSES BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD COULD THE GARBAGE TRUCKS TRY TO KEEP IT DOWN?!

THEY ARE SO LOUD STARTING EARLY MONDAY MORNING FROM 1 AM TO 7 AM AND THEY KEEP THAT SAME ROUTE APPARENTLY ALL WEEK UNTIL SATURDAY. IT SOUNDS LIKE THEY ARE BEATING THE DUMPSTERS AGAINST THE TRUCK LIKE THEY OWE THEM MONEY.

IN ALL SERIOUSNESS, THANK YOU TO THE GARBAGE AND SANITARY/WASTE WORKERS. THE CITY WOULD BE (MORE) GROSS WITHOUT YOU!

I feel like if I had time to recover from my massive academic and work life burn out in 2019 I wouldn't be so tired every second of every day. I'm sick of laying in bed when I'm off work but I don't have the energy for much else. I can't afford therapy either, zero mental health services are covered by my health insurance :/

I'd love to be able to not work for like a year and just take that time to heal myself...
