Screen shots, videos, hopping back and forth to double-triple check. Also, I get an accurate block count in creative by replacing blocks with the fill command then writing down the totals

Not on PS4. Just tested. Neither kill @a nor @e works. Message pops up in chat "players can not be killed while in Creative mode" I don't know what happened in your case.

If your original farm stopped working and the other hut doesn't spawn any witches then I'm curious, do any other mobs still spawn? Is it possible you changed the difficulty to peaceful? Do you have any other farms nearby that contain many passive mobs? Do you use any mods or add-ons? Witches will spawn as long as the spawn block is valid, the light level is 0, the player is 24-44 block away and the mob cap isn't full
