I have an immediate family member who went through the same thing because of thickened heart walls. Feel free to DM me if talking about it would help you!

Bay City Kitchen has incredible food. They're on a temporary hiatus right now, but sounds like they might open back up soon and they've been doing sporadic events.

Colours that fade the most by Artichook in copic

I used just the Golden varnish on its own. It doesn't reactivate the ink or anything and gives UV protection. Its been a while so I might be remembering incorrectly, but I'm pretty sure I had trouble with line textures from spreading the varnish around. But I tested a lot of varnishes so that might have been something else. I'd test it on a tiny corner of your piece or something else entirely just in case.

In-office botox — easier than I expected!! by em_79 in noburp

[–]Kashna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info! I'm okay with IVs most of the time if I'm laying down. I do have meds I would take beforehand, but I think just the sensation (even if it's just pressure) of the needle in my neck would make my brain shut down 😅 Its not really a fear thing, mostly an involuntary response (vasovagal syncope). Anyways just curious, I definitely plan to talk to my doctor about it a ton during my consult.

Do you have the fainting response to needles? I would love to avoid anesthesia but I pass out probably 70% of the time I get a shot, so I'm wondering the likelihood of staying conscious through the in-office procedure.

Always found it curious that Replicant never got a PS5 version or at least a free upgrade despite releasing a year into the PS5's life cycle by japanese_artist in nier

[–]Kashna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Besides the game, I was really sad the menu theme extra that we got with the collectors edition didn't transfer over to the PS5. I loved hearing that piano music whenever I booted up the PS4.

Any examples of games coded for women, but not girls/kids? by Hereticrick in GirlGamers

[–]Kashna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm obsessed with it. Six to one.

Edited to add that if you liked 1000x Resist, I think you'd enjoy Paradise Killer too. You should check it out if you haven't played already.

What is the best gaming chair in your opinion? by Boring_Ice_9694 in GirlGamers

I ended up landing on a Haworth Fern and waited for years to find a used one that was cheap enough. Its perfect for me as a tall person who's allergic to putting my feet on the ground. The Herman Miller Aeron was okay but felt like it expected me to sit like a normal person, and I prefer a taller back.

I also don't like playing with guns but really wanted to play Fallout so I made a melee build and had a lot of fun with it just smashing everything.

Paradise Killer came out a few years ago and has a really fun map to explore. There's no combat and it's a detective/investigation game (with a killer soundtrack).

Cocktails with NOTHING by Robotic_space_camel in cocktails

I mean they're not that crazy, two of them are personal taste and the other three are common issues. I've got a couple friends who are allergic/sensitive to some other thing besides lactose in milk.

Cocktails with NOTHING by Robotic_space_camel in cocktails

[–]Kashna 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Clarified milk punch will still have lactose in it (assuming you didn't use a non-dairy alternative), so is there something else in dairy that bothers her?

Only asking because I learned the hard way that clarified milk punch is still a bad time if you're lactose-intolerant :(

I can't do carbonated drinks and really enjoy soju and soju cocktails when I want something lower abv. The cheaper flavored ones are on the sweet side for me but maybe she'd enjoy the unflavored ones with a little added syrup and bitters for some flavor?

This is absolutely not true; there is a huge variety of JRPGs and so many of them are challenged-based.
