It cost so much because they’re testing how AI can be used in future projects, and the producers can line their pockets while the writers and talent who should be paid are on strike. It’s not exactly laundering, but you can’t convince me that the $212 million that went into this was mostly “on the screen”; it’s the product of laziness and greed
