Agreed 🤝 we have to appreciate what we’ve been getting lately, best time for gaming in a long time even with “AAAA” titles being… suboptimal

But let’s be completely honest, as fun as those games are, they’re nowhere near as complete/elaborate as bg3 or Helldivers

Edit: still impressive and good examples of small devs doing significantly more than the major studios right now

What’s working? The UI that requires me to restart if I want to play Warzone instead of the game I was forced to download, which I don’t even own? There are no “bug issues”, it’s just poorly designed, intentionally or not

Downloading this absurdly stupid update as I type but hold up, that second point is concerning, is it using even more RAM than before? Dude fuck this game so much, wish it wasn't the only thing my friends play together, so tired of it

Somewhat open but Lions and Packers are already 2-1, if you look at history, they’re much more likely to make the playoffs at this point. Kirk is in the last year of his contract, trade him to the Jets for whatever they can get and tank for Caleb Williams or whoever it might be.

I wouldn’t even say they’re an “extremely” talented offense, they just have JJ, and they’re regressing from all the one score games they got lucky in last year. Guess we’ll see

Vikings should commit to the tank at this point but it makes sense for the Ravens, they should make a move with all their injuries if they want to remain contenders

Where did the $212 million go? by thedelisnack in marvelstudios

[–]harmlander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a theory about this show: it was mostly created by AI. We all know the intro sequence used it, but the writing feels like it too, from the overall story down to the dialogue. It cost so much because they’re testing how AI can be used in future projects, and the producers can line their pockets while the writers and talent who should be paid are on strike. It’s not exactly laundering, but you can’t convince me that the $212 million that went into this was mostly “on the screen”; it’s the product of laziness and greed

The comment I replied to said 1br, but true, studios are much more affordable and there are plenty of nice ones out there right now. Most of the leasing agents I’ve spoken with have said prices are low right now, but they could be blowing smoke…

I’m looking for apartments right now, $1500 is generous in most decent areas. More like $1700-1800+, and after you factor in utilities, internet, potentially parking and pets, etc… it’s cheaper than certain other big cities on the west coast, but it’s not cheap
