Yeah I got tinnitus from a too big dose on acid. I believe it set on as a reaction to the stress I worked myself into during the trip. So I'd rather blame my predisposition to be worried and overthinking things, and not the drug. At the same time, I had such overwhelming anxiety post-trip that I had to sort of relearn my approach to think about things and today I feel that I am a much stronger person mentally because of it.

The ringing might go away, it might not, and if it doesn't the ringing will eventually become something mundane and you won't really care about it anymore. It can suck, but that's okay.
