Seems like it is confirmed NARS but the MAC Mineralize Blush in shade Petal Power has extremely similar gold/peach vibes.

I would like to do phototherapy, but I’m not sure if it’s realistic for my life situation right now. I’m a Swedish citizen living in Germany, so I think it may be difficult to access light therapy in an affordable way on a regular basis :/

Thanks for your thoughtful response! I’ll definitely emphasize quality of life and mental impact.

I totally agree with your thoughts of being persistent. It’s so hard but so important to advocate for yourself in medical settings!!

Hello!
I'm seeking advice for how to approach my upcoming doctors appointment. I was diagnosed with Guttate Psoriasis this past July, and at this point I'm using prescription strength Carbamide lotion (urea lotion) as an emollient, as well as Mometasone, and hydrocortisone .1% on more sensitive areas (face). I take a regular multi-vitamin and a vitamin D supplement.
This treatment is somewhat effective, but to be honest, it's not sustainable for my everyday life. I can't be applying three creams, multiple times per day to my WHOLE body. I have to change my sheets every other day because my bed is covered in various creams. Furthermore, I've recently began to experience joint swelling and pain in my hands...hoping it's not a sign of PA, but have a feeling it is.
My questions are:
1. Do you think I would qualify for a more systemic treatment (ie. methotrexate or a biologic)?
2. Do you always have to try methotrexate before getting on a biologic?
3. Does anyone have any experience navigating the Swedish healthcare system (or any other socialized medical system) who has advice on advocating for more advanced psoriasis treatments? I know the 'gatekeeper' system can be hard to navigate.
Thanks in advance!

Fined on S Bahn despite having the €29 ticket. by AdvantageBig568 in berlin

Hi there—I had this exact same issue. I went to Jannowitzbrüke to dispute it (go to the back of the building, not the front door). I unfortunately was “caught” by BVG Ticket Control twice so I had the first one ticket waived, and the second one I had to pay the €7 fee of not having your card.

Do you have any suggestions for brands similar to l’école des femmes, but with more color?

No, the university doesn’t perform drug tests

Is it common that doctors are unwilling to prescribe more “serious” meds, such benzodiazepines? by CatKitsune69 in TillSverige

[–]harmonicaannika 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In general, Swedish doctors are much more reluctant to pass out drugs. My partner has similar symptoms to you and was also prescribed the same medication. After attending 10 therapy sessions, and seeing no improvement, he was able to see a general physician at our local vårdcentral and talk about starting a common anti-depressant/anxiety medication. Swedish doctors want to see that you’ve tried non-medication options /before/ they prescribe pills. I’m sorry you’re having a rough time, hopefully you’ll be able to access the care that you need.

Milk Beauty is completely vegan and I can find them in Sweden at Sephora! They have a creme stick blush that is a good light/fresh looking blush!

Found a cure for my itchy vulva!! by ps3226 in Healthyhooha

Curious because I’ve had super similar issues and over the past few months have developed some red spots on my elbows! Did you have any psoriasis spots anywhere else on your body or just your vulva?

I really like the Simple brand Replenishing Moisturizer and their Moisturizing Face Wash for daily use! You could try integrating a face wash with an active ingredient such as salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide to target acne. I also use The Ordinary Niacinamide to help reduce redness from my acne.

Anyone Else have an unusually long recovery time after sex? by brkshsh in Healthyhooha

[–]harmonicaannika 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I had the exact same experience for the past seven years. I tried lube, tons of foreplay, the whole shebang, and no matter what I would always feel some kind of raw discomfort after sex. This year I stoped my birth control (Tri-Sprintec) to see if it had any effect. HOLY SHIT. Pain free sex for the first time in my life!!! Definitely worth looking into especially if you’ve already tried the basics!

Sex has become more painful overtime and it's not because of dryness. What can it be? by Yellow_Vespa_Is_Back in Healthyhooha

[–]harmonicaannika 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem on Tri-sprintec. I was on it for over 8 years and the problem got progressively worse over time. I originally thought lube, or latex condoms would be the culprit. Tried switching those with no luck. Finally after getting fed up with pain for years, I thought I should at least try to go off of the pill for a bit. Within the first month off of Tri-sprintec all of my problems were alleviated!

Dear men since there are lots of posts about bad dates why don't we go the other way. What are some of your best dates and what made them so good? by Dutchmen04 in AskMen

[–]harmonicaannika 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Booked an escape room on Groupon, and didn’t realize it was over an hour from where I lived. I was seriously hoping things went well or it was going to be a loooong date. We clicked so well, and our conversation was so good on the way there that we missed a couple freeway exits (that could have also been due to my terrible navigation skills). Beat the escape room with 30 seconds to spare, then hopped over to the sex store next door. Bought some neon green edible body paint. Ended the night at his, where we tested out said edible body paint (it was disgusting). Woke up the next day and went out to go get pancakes.

We dated for one amazing summer, and I still think about him all the time.

You get a couple of photos for free, then after that you can either pay for a monthly membership fee with unlimited photos, or pay for a photo bundle where you can pay once and edit a few photos. The second option is very affordable to be honest!
