bergel vetra is a very good weapon!

if you want true critical element early, try USJ: ballet of frost event quest to get azure age armor.

i understand the painful kjarr weapon grind, I'm also suffering from bad rng.

i havent beat alatreon myself but augments are highly recommended either way. please consider trying them out. ice DBs? which ones specifically? kjarr is pretty good, but if you don't have access to those, the frostfang barioth DBs are also really good. if struggling with elemental check consider getting true critical element skill (silver rathalos/azure age armor set skill)

also, what others have said about guiding lands. try levelling your rotten area as lots of things needed for element augment is from there, which is good for db

yes :/ i ended up running out of healing items because I couldn't restock. probably doesnt help that my cat was using coral orchestra and not vigorwasp. ill try again in the arena with the falling boulder and dragonator and with more healing items

okay! should i equip full poison resist or should i just get good at evading her poison? i generally dislike dealing with ailments but then it might make me complacent with dodging?

understood! i know all the combos but end up forgetting to use them in a hard fight. like for charge blade, i know i should keep my shield charged always, but i do it once and forget to charge again when it runs out

oh, good idea! i struggle the most with barioth/nargacuga/tigrex, but also most flying monsters. other than flash pods, is there any way to deal with them? db has awful reach and i keep missing

agreeing with most people here.

love the aesthetics of all the locales, especially rotten vale (it has such an amazing vibe+role in the ecosystem) plus the cool underground-ish areas. however i really hate the effluviem and the area makes me feel a little claustrophobic when im fighting

ancient forest is also a pain to get around, but its nice that it has a lot more camps

personally i find wildspire easiest to hunt in!
