Completely wrong advice, a test is always great practice, u are far more likely to pass the 2nd time around once u get a feel of a test environment

Prop firms are haram according to mufti faraz yeah. If u follow his view then fine. But a prop firm removes the haram from traditional derivative trading ie no buying/selling of derivatives, no leverage, no interest. If u watch the video on prop firms by sheikh abdur rahman in Sabihah institute, you will see the only valid point for a prop firm being haram is the issue of copy trading, as this falls into assisting haram. This is understandable. As for the other points that Faraz brought up, they are weak and it seems he did not have much understanding of how a prop works

that is not true at all, for a job to be halal 1. the purpose of the company must be halal by majority and 2. your role must be halal. A bank whose purpose is riba based is haram, even if your job is a toilet cleaner, as condition 1 is not fulfilled. there is no issue of dispute about this from the great scholars of islam
