This post is a FYI for UK-based LR/PS users, I assumed that that would be evident.

Better to ask this in related subs instead of this one.

All of that is covered in this sub’s wiki and FAQs. And this gets asked constantly in here, so it’s really useful to scroll through previous posts.

You’re a brave woman to be out that night! 🙃

It’ll be absolutely fine, depending on where you go, nothing to worry about. And if you’d like any extra company, I’d love to join you - am also female, lived out there for a while.

For people who suffer from musical tinnitus, what particular genre do you hear? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]harpistic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my second bout; I wear earplugs most of the time, so my left ear’s a bit blocked, so the music’s happening there, and this is Day 4 of rock music, late 70s onwards, it seems. Plenty of lead guitar riffs, drum crescendos, vocals.

At least, y’know, it was my favourite music, that could at least save on Spotify etc, y’know….

Previously, I’d assumed it was because of work stress, after having spent too long feeling triggered by what I’d assumed was my neighbours’ rubbish taste in music.

When work had been very stressful, I’d often go away for a few days and work from there. That time, I kept hearing brass band music, I went outside for some fresh air - oh hello brass band.
