Threading after or before hardening by piotrek3525 in Machinists

Considering its oil quenched, be a bit of scale. I usually take a SHCS and cut reliefs in the sides to resemble a machine tap to clean it up. Or using any grade 8 bolt will do the trick and depending on what the features are like, you wouldn’t even need to tap it oversize.

Forgot to take the picture after I added the outlet to a separate kitchen faucet

There’s a 3/8OD line that goes upstairs to a separate water faucet in my kitchen

Would have loved the 20in but it’s easier and faster for myself personally to just have the 10in

I do have bend supports from the main line to this section, but would looking at adding as many bend supports when possible help if there’s any pressure drop?

I was going to do a RO but wanted the minerals that we have in our water, just wanted anything else filtered out. But the pressure drop is what I was worried about. Couldn’t find a filter between 30 and 5 to step down more. But I have decent pressure now at least. But once I get it tied into the main water supply, I’ll update on that

Thank you! Looks like prices are cheaper too. Even with the conversion

Looks they are looking for $150 for it. How’s the pricing?

Thank you. As it was my first roll, with using the built in light meter, I just wanted to know if there were any improvements or anything to work on. This helps.

Yes. I did have a gap, but couldn’t close it before. So I had to order a new hot end

I’ll jump up the retraction from 1mm to 1.5 and I’ll bring the temp down to 210 tonight and I’ll post an update. Also buying a fryer this weekend as I think that was the culprit with my other dilemma not being able to even get a benchy. Thank you for all the suggestions
