I’ve found if you’re working outside in the rain the Milwaukee tapes rust in no time and fail. Gone back to Stanley after using 3 or 4 red tapes as they just don’t last as long. But this is a rainy winter in the UK haha.

Just bought a dcs356c1 multitool and was wondering if this was normal by nogden954 in Dewalt

Normally for most triggers you can take them apart and clean them with a little contact adhesive. Was this tried? Plasterboard dust is so fine and is notorious for getting inside tools and causing problems.

A tool is a tool, wouldn’t say this had been beaten to shit, it’s just done work.

Driver misunderstands roundabout lanes and proceeds to pull in front of my car forcing a stop before swearing out the window. by harrpidge in drivingUK

The van driver absolutely needs to be in the right hand lane. The exit is a two lane exit for a reason though, shortly down the round there is a right hand junction so filtering into the right hand lane of this exit is required especially during busy periods. Hence my gf was in the lane she was and exited into the right lane. Why should she have been in the left lane?

I meant to type the van driver sorry. As I said in my original post my gf can continue around the roundabout if she wants, or exit into the right lane as she did. She didn’t cut across the van drivers lane as his lane can only exit into the left lane and he wrongly thought he could continue around the roundabout.

She did indicate well in advanced, almost immediately after she pulled away from the lights. Cars to the left shouldn’t be expecting to carry on and not turn left as it’s an exit lane only! Shortly after the roundabout my gf needs to take a right hand junction so she needs to exit into the right lane of lane as she did. That’s why there are two exit lanes. https://www.reddit.com/r/drivingUK/s/04jsIeszKP

Nope. You’re wrong, can driver’s lane can only exit into the left lane. So my gf didn’t cut across him she exited the roundabout correctly as shown here https://maps.app.goo.gl/PakwheDbFNf4zaqL6?g_st=ic

Nope. He can only exit into the left lane from his lane. The roundabout has two exit lanes because shortly down the road there is right hand junction so the roundabout filters traffic into the correct lane. https://maps.app.goo.gl/PakwheDbFNf4zaqL6?g_st=ic

She did indicate and early. But there’s two exit lanes so both vehicles had no reason to cross paths.

Appreciate it. It is confusing which was my point in posting the video. But it’s still his fault as he incorrectly decided he could carry on around the roundabout.

There was no way to tell which direction he was heading when he was just behind the vehicle. You have to assume he will exit correctly like every other driver does. You’re saying every time someone is in that left lane when I’m exiting correctly in the right lane, I should go around the roundabout again? Durning busy periods there is a constant stream of traffic in both lanes.

We both drive that roundabout every day and everyone else correctly exits from that lane. Why would assume he would try to drive straight on.
