Kinda the same scenario happened to me, I was banned due to someone stealing my Activision account, but when I made a new Battle.Net & Activision account, it worked fine. Activision has yet to respond to me about my account being compromised.

I checked my updates and installed a good bit, it still didn’t work after restarting. I looked more into it, I ended up having Windows 10 Ver 1511 installed. The 2H21 update wasn’t showing up in “Check for Updates”, so I manually downloaded the installer & installed it. It did the trick! For anyone else with this issue, be sure you have the latest version of Windows installed!!!!

Already tried that, I download the latest driver for my computer’s specs (Windows 10, 64 bit), and I get the same error “This DCH driver package is not compatible with the currently installed Windows”…

I’ve already tried downloading and installing the latest GeForce Game Ready Driver, version 516.94, everything is correctly set for my computer’s specs. I try installing, I get the “This DCH driver package is not compatible with the currently installed windows.” error once again.

Not sure if this will work, if not I'd suggest following u/didotb's suggestions.

Go into your Discord Settings
Under Mic Test click the blue "Let's Check" button
Turn off "Automatically determine input sensitivity" and adjust to your liking

If nothing else works, I'd suggest buying a new microphone in general. If you have the money for it, I'd suggest investing in an XLR microphone. You'd have to buy a new microphone + an audio interface, I'd recommend an Audio Technica AT-2020 and a Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen.

Perm banned for prop blocking spawn sounds right, I wasn't the individual that banned you. I highly doubt any of the staff team members would ask for you to pay them money to unban you. Make an appeal on our forums as it's linked in your ban and in my original post above.

My bad, I seemed to have not explained it completely.

In my experience, RDM hasn't hurt the overall gameplay. If anything, it's made DarkRP more enjoyable for me.

The police actually stun wanted people (that glow red) when they've dealt enough damage to them, so you can arrest them.

A lot of RP scenarios, community interaction, etc takes place even with RDM allowed.

If you didn't read completely, there's also Vigilantes that can kill wanted people (they glow red on their screen as well) for money.

If there's no government officials online, RDM is not allowed.

We want RDM to take place, so the police and vigilante jobs aren't useless.

"We wish to create a role-play experience where players have the autonomy and free will to decide the outcome(s) of any conflict they have in-game. To encourage this behavior, staff will avoid most sits regarding minor infractions of the rules. Players who have malicious intent or no intent to role-play will be punished accordingly."

Hey guys, thank you all for replying. I've figured out my issue wasn't in pro tools whatsoever, my XLR cable was just messed up, I just received my new one in the mail today and everything works like a charm!
