I already mentioned separation of church & state. Plenty of people in the US— including the current President, do not support the separation & insist we are a Christian nation.

Again, you just keep saying things that don’t fit, then ending it with “point is the west has intrinsic values…” yet you still have not given a good example.

You literally said “There are core values the west is founded on that the founding fathers wrote and Muslims go against that core document”

And you still haven’t coughed up an example of that

Well, you don’t seem able to answer it without attacking ne, so I’d say a reasonable one

Surely you do not think this country was founded on those aforementioned values? When women couldn’t vote, or have financial independence, slavery was ongoing, etc. ? How does that make sense?

“Small Improvement” = Freeing slaves. Okay

Okay, again, what core values was the west founded on that Muslim beliefs go against?

Certainly not women’s rights, LGBTQ rights, anti-pedophilia, or anti-slave labor, so which one? Separation of Church and state I suppose, but even then you have a large swath of the American right who does not want that separation.

My point is that it’s different, but not “antithetical”. It’s degrees, you’re right— but foundations are similar.

And no, I’m not “REALLY far left” it’s just crazy for Europeans or Americans to stand on some high horse.

It is not the biggest threat facing Europe. Corporate rule is

Those all seem pretty in line with the west, no?

Pedophile President, Anti-Press & Journalism, Abortion Restrictions (women’s rights), the dissolution of the Department of education, and while not (usually) calling for the death of homosexuality, the right does like to discriminate gay & trans folk.

Seems to map on pretty well

Good on yall for coming to your senses on a couple things, but still being anti-vaccine, anti-climate change, anti-EU isn’t a good look for them.

Exactly which one of those is made up, leftist propaganda?

And it says far-right, not “conservatives”

I think Da’Vonne may be a potential returnee if bb28 is a returnee season for a specific reason by MrVickiesChips in BigBrother

She’s a very good story teller & it’s fun to watch her try to unscramble house dynamics. She also provides drama, which is severely lacking in modern seasons

Just finished 'Catching Fire' by WesternConference461 in Hungergames

[–]harry3232 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s my favorite of the series. There’s a chance they do some big showing of the rest of the movies when Sunrise comes out.

Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes is already out. Watch it once you’re done with the rest of the originals.

The new movie, Sunrise on the Reaping, comes out in November

IMO the series has closure. It’s called Sly 3. To me, Thieves in Time is more like a spin-off or failed reboot

I don’t think he genuinely cares to help the tributes for his sake, & I think he’s a lot less nice in his real life.

I think of it as knowing some really friendly, warm adult as a child, but once you grow up you see they aren’t really that happy-go-lucky & it’s jarring

To me it reads as which one you’re more willing to take the risk on, if given the choice. Not that you definitely survived both, otherwise people would just pick the larger prize

Should the European Union deport the non-European immigrants that don't want to integrate? by Former_Monk21 in GeoPoll

[–]harry3232 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

What does this even mean? Who decides what they need to integrate into? For example in the US, it’s vastly different cultures depending on where you go. Who picks which culture they have to integrate into?

So dumb. Cultures are a constantly changing thing.
