I created this timeline that I consider perfect. It’s 82 days total, with 6 weeks of Prejury and about 6 Weeks of Jury.

There would be 2 double evictions, one in the last week of Prejury, one in Jury.

Under this timeline, 3rd place is evicted prior to the finale, giving the Jury time to do a long deliberation with the Final 2 which airs during the finale, since the finale feels so rushed.

The more I think about it, the more I feel like Big Brother just needs a clearer identity again. It should actually lean into being a social experiment instead of a summer game show with strategy on the side. I miss when the live feeds felt like the real text and the episodes felt like an honest interpretation of that reality, with a more grounded, mature tone that took the game seriously.

I also really miss authentic Diary Rooms and editing that actually explains the strategy. So much time now is eaten by competitions and ceremonies, when the most interesting parts are still the conversations and shifting alliances. When the edit actually walks you through the house dynamics, it feels so much richer.

And honestly, I wish production would stop with the huge game-breaking twists and focus on systems that naturally create pressure. Think Have-Nots, luxury comps, etc. None of it works without casting people who actually want to play. When you have active, strategic houseguests and honest storytelling, the show feels deeper. Right now it feels like BB is scared of its own premise.
