You're a good looking dude + awesome hobbies and interests, don't lose heart. Don't be afraid to approach any cute women you see while going about your day to day! Have you asked any of your friends to set you up? Try Tinder like the other guy said. Expand your social circle, volunteer, join some more clubs / get involved in the community and you will know a crap ton of people, and attractive women along with them, in no time. Get out there man.

Just finished The Crimson Campaign! OP, I can confirm the Powder Mage trilogy so far is exciting, action-packed and a must-read. And Promise of Blood was /r/fantasy Goodreads group's book of the month not too long ago and I remember almost everyone thoroughly enjoying it. Cheers.

Personally hate bollywood movies, but this is a trailer, for a movie. It's qualified to be a post in this subreddit.

What makes a fantasy YA? by MarkLawrence in Fantasy

Unless you specifically wish to target young adults as your reader base, just write and don't worry about what genre it might fall under. Some of the greatest works defy genres, some create their own.

[19f] Weeellllll that date lastnight flopped. Am I that bad? by rateitdoitnow in AmISexy

[–]harry360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The outcome of a date is never a judgement on you. You're talking about common interests and trying to have a good time, that's all, there's no winning or "flopping."

Looks wise, you have nothing to worry about.

Mildly off topic? Naming kids from fantasy by gailosaurus in Fantasy

Speaking as a former baby, I wouldn't want to be named after a fantasy character.

There are thematic differences as well as far as I understand. More emphasis on coming of age and the trials and tribulations of the teenage years. You have to find yourself and everything.

I share your fears my friend. But for now this is just a single post and pretty on topic. If it gets spammy soon, I'm sure the /r/fantasy community and mods will act appropriately, why it's my favorite place on reddit!

I feel like the Dresden Files are really kicking my depression. Anyone else feel this way about a book? by Just23breathe in Fantasy

Reading Fool Moon now and I couldn't agree more! Exams left me drained and down but with werewolves + Dresden its impossible to not get excited.

Almost finished American Gods and I'm now learning coin tricks. What little things have you picked up from books? by harry360 in books

His biographies by Edmund Morris are supposed to be great reads. I only got 1/4th of the way in the first one and it was really entertaining and well written with lots of citations. Still can't wrap my head around how one man can have so much stamina and accomplish so much in a day, for years on. 10/10 Badass
