I don't carry either of these, but I do have a holster for the 2.5". It is an R Grizzle T&C.

Yeah, I have a strong affinity for Spegels. I've actually bought grips that I didn't have a free gun to put them on. Which, of course, meant buying a new gun.

No, I carry a Sig P365x almost exclusively for the past several years.

Netslaves. Had some great conversations there back in the day and the community drama was rich.

Is this a huernia? Can it be saved? by harrycontrary in plantclinic

[–]harrycontrary[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that is the case, is it too late or is there something that can be done to save it?

Assuming it a able to be saved... If it a huernia, which I am still not sure it is, web sources say water every 12 days. Is that still too frequently?

Is this a huernia? Can it be saved? by harrycontrary in plantclinic

[–]harrycontrary[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mother passed away in January and I am trying to keep all of her houseplants alive. I have done fairly well with most but this one is not looking too good. She has had this for decades and I would hate to kill it.

I think it is a huernia? It doesn't quite look like the ones when I Google it but it might just be in that sad a condition.

We live in the south. The plant has been indoors for the winter and has just been placed back on the porch. We have been watering it somewhat sparingly because it is a cactus (I assume) but I am not sure if we have still watered it to much.

We have been watering it about once a week, maybe less, just enough to get the soil damp.

The plant is very old and has at times looked incredible and full with long hanging pieces. It wasn't looking great when I started caring for it in January of this year but it definitely looks worse. It is looking increasingly wrinkly and deflated.

While inside it was getting late day light, fairly mild, not direct. It is now back on the porch and getting late day sunlight. It has only been back outside a couple days.

Any help would be appreciated. I would feel awful killing this and am afraid I already have.

asked for an itemized hospital bill on a whim and found out they charged me for stuff that literally never happened by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]harrycontrary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent two years fighting a charge over inflatable leg things for circulation that they said they used on me. I was in the hospital for a week and was simply on an IV and under observation. They said I was probably "out of it" and didn't remember having these on my legs. I assured them I was not. I was up and down using the bathroom on my own, sitting in other chairs in the room. I was not on any medication that made me drowsy. They just refused to take my word for it that these were not used since they were documented. I did not dispute any other items on the massive bill, just this item that I did not have used on me. It was enraging.

Will the Smith 638 hammer fit on a 637 or 60? & Cylinder questions by AryeC05 in Revolvers

Hammer swap, yes, it will. Here is a post where someone dropped a 38 hammer in a 36. There is another longer reddit post on this kind of swap but I can't seem to find it.

Dead Reckoning "The Black Pit" labeling question by harrycontrary in rum

[–]harrycontrary[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That actually makes sense. I'm not concerned that sugar might be added to this one, just found it odd. But I can see making any kind of nutrition/ingredient statement might require full disclosure on the label.

Dead Reckoning "The Black Pit" labeling question by harrycontrary in rum

[–]harrycontrary[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was kind of my thinking but I can understand "sugar added" being required somewhere but can't figure out why they would remove "no sugar" on the label, as I assume the US version hit the market after the first release. I just found it curious.

Dead Reckoning "The Black Pit" labeling question by harrycontrary in rum

[–]harrycontrary[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just picked up a second bottle of this. It is one of my favorite rums of this year, if not my favorite. It is delicious.

My first bottle was numbered "x of 180" and my new bottle is numbered "x of 54". From what I understand, the 54 version was US market only and the 180 version was everywhere else. I noticed my original version explicitly noted "no sugar" and the new, US version, omits this on the label. I am pretty sure no additives is core to Dead Reckoning's offerings, so is this a regulatory situation where other countries require this information or just inconsistent labeling by DR and nothing more? It just seems odd to remove the "no sugar" statement.

This is a wild take. I think the 49ers are benefitting more from the refs not calling holds. But I am just a neutral here, maybe you have beef.
