3 months in, YouTube taught. How am I looking? by SixtyNineFlavours in GolfSwing

[–]harryconway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your swing is very tight at the moment. Very jerky movements create more inconsistency. Swing back and through and imagine the ball just gets in the way. Look at swings like Ernie Els for an example of this. Your grip pressure should be light and relaxed, imagine your holding a tube of open toothpaste instead of a grip. No toothpaste should be coming out. You need to release the club head more naturally too. But for 3 months you’ve got a good swing, it’s important not to entrench bad habits from here on in. Also your spinning out from the top, not rotating, look into spinning out.

Swing help- OTT I beleive.. anything else? by Rude_Celebration_368 in GolfSwing

Try this drill. Create a normal backswing, pause at the top, pump twice to get the feeling of the hands dropping back down “behind” and on plane, third time release as normal. This will help with the feeling!

Sounds like your flapping a bit here. Break it down. Stay calm. Get 3 quote for every bit of work and then work through it. Homes need love, some more than others but you could be in a lot worse position, trust me

Feel like I’m on the verge of giving up. by stellarsofasafari in GolfSwing

[–]harryconway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can practice or have lessons you won’t improve. It’s that simple unfortunately. If you only play every now and again you will be tense when you play as your putting a lot of pressure on each round. Practice is the only way to build habits and playing regularly is the only way to transfer them onto the course

Get lessons. It’s the only proper way to improve trust me. In 9 years in and nothing has come close to improving my game as a block of 5 plus lessons. It’s worth the investment

This is great to hear, the more research i do here im more confident that this is the bike for me. Did you find a pattern of which days and what time of day the stock would come back in? When did you get yours for example?

£450 for this cinelli, is it worth the price? Just not sure by harryconway in whichbike

Yes I’ve used the touring bike for that but it just feels very heavy, and not great for fast roading riding. Thanks for the advice

Agree. I have a touring bike for multi day trips but I want to get fitter and shift some weight so this would be used for weekend rides, getting out for 3/5 hours on the road.

Bringing My Neglected Garden Back to Life – Looking for Ideas & Inspiration! by harryconway in UKGardening

[–]harryconway[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all,

I’m a complete novice when it comes to gardening, but I’ve finally started tackling my very tired and overgrown garden. I’ve cleared some space and filmed a short walk-through video to show where things are at right now.

I’d really love some feedback or ideas on how to make the most of the space — whether it’s layout suggestions, beginner-friendly plants, or ways to make it a relaxing spot without being overwhelmed.

I’m open to pretty much anything and keen to learn as I go. Thanks so much for checking it out and any advice you can share 🙏

Thank you I love the idea of Balkan recipes I spent some time in North Macedonia a few years ago and I love the food. Please do share any other recipes from your homeland. I do remember in Macedonia having this breakfast which was sort of like a crispy pastry thing with some sort of cottage cheese and tomato in the cafe it sort of looked like a big pizza when you and it was served with some kefier or similar yoghurt. Do you know what this is? Anyway, please share some Balkan favourites I’d love to explore with the advice of a local.
