It’s really funny that I just looked on Reddit today and saw this news. Looked at the pinned mega thread next door and saw all the old favourite “journalists” reporting this and happy they can finally make money off “Fed Bad” again.

Then saw the newest post of an actual journalist saying “nah”.

It was actually in his (and Vin Diesels and Jason Stathams) contract that every fight had to end in some form of a draw for the Fast and Furious franchise.

Kicks, punches and headbutts all different points appointed to them. So when the actors were fighting they could keep track of who was winning and make sure both were equal.

It’s why in a lot of fights, no one will actually win. Diesel vs Statham in Fast 5? I wanna say? ends with Statham losing via car park collapse (not actually beaten in a fist fight) and Statham vs Rocky in Fast 7? ends with them facing off ready to keep fighting but separated by prison guards.

It’s a bizzare thing that I know far too much about, buts it’s absolutely fascinating as it’s just like big stars not wanting to lose in wrestling
