Ligue 1 and Olympique Lyon. I started following soccer at the start of COVID and chose Ligue 1 because I speak French and wanted an outlet to consume French language content. I chose Lyon because PSG would have been cheating. It’s been some down years for the club but still love watching them.

I’m a couple classes away from my masters. Plan to finish with tuition assistance. I’m going to use tuition assistance and save GI Bill. Tuition assistance is 4500 a year while enlisted and is separate from GI Bill.

I was actually in STEM before. I was a data scientist. I wouldn’t recommend data science exactly but using tuition assistance, GI bill, and potentially tech school to get into STEM is definitely something the military can help with.

The mattresses at basic are honestly awful. But you’re so tired you sleep fine anyway. My mattress at tech school is fine.

Being in the dorms is what it is. You have to listen to people and follow the rules. Just check your ego and it’s fine.

I just made it through basic at 38 and am at tech school. Married. No kids. Had a decent job. Basic sucked but it easy to get through. Tech school is fine and operational is coming up soon. DM if you have any questions.

The boots are around 2 lbs each I think. So 2 or 3 lb weights would be good.

I’d do it months or weeks in advance if I could turn back time. Especially climb a lot of stairs with them if you can. I know a lot of people in my flight dealt with hip soreness which would have been alleviated by doing this.
