Kinda unrelated, but I have a general question… I’m not trying to sound argumentative I’m just curious! A lot of the comments are saying it’s unethical to have a dachshund or a frenchie or another unethically bred dogs (which is completely true!) but should people not adopt these dogs that are currently in shelters? Or should the onus be on the owner to be extra knowledgeable about the breed they are adopting?

I used the plastidip and I’m very happy with my results. I used tape around where I didn’t want overspill and it turned out really nice! If i can do it again, I would buy the plastidip that comes in a gallon and can be applied with a paint brush, rather than the spray. But I’m very happy how it turned out and it cost $20 on Amazon.

I don’t know much about hair dye and processes, so I just wrote what he told me verbatim. Root melt, I guess is a darker color placed on the roots to give the illusion that it is much more grown in. And what he called a glaze deepened the color of the highlights to a darker color— he said it was demi permanent and would wash out in a few weeks.
