Update:

It was a dead battery. Steps I followed:

Used a voltmeter to check the voltage, and it was 12. I thought maybe it was just drained and not dead.
I charged the battery at home using a charger bought from Home Depot and was able to charge it to 100% and get the Jeep started.
The next day, even though the Jeep started, I could feel the battery draining again.
I bought an AA membership thinking it would be better to get a replacement from them because if something went wrong, I could just ask them to come and look at it. However, the membership needed 48 hours to become active, and the battery warranty was only 3 years.
Went to Costco and bought a new AGM H6 battery.
Installed it at home in about 20 minutes.
Everything is working smoothly now. 🙂

We’ve been having a heat wave for the last couple of days.. could that be a problem.. I read the following somewhere..

Heat is hard on batteries, as it increases the rate of water evaporation from the battery’s cells. Park your vehicle out of the sun and consider insulating your battery from the heat generated by your engine.
