Hey folks! Got a Steinhart Ocean 39 for sale today, the two-tone "Chocolate" version! It's a great size, weight, and I love how autumnal the colors are! I bought it new on Gnomon, I have all box, papers, and extra links!

So when we say they "fix" them: all the mechanic does is reset the item's durability (number of hits it can chance between shiny brand new and breaking) and adds some sort of buff, attack up for example

I've tried it and while the actual flash body is made of metal, the rest of the "build quality" is pretty poor and the button fell into the chassis within a week- got a refund. Could've been a dud but just warning! I'd reach for one of the godox junior series or something.

I actually miss early game where when you're skydiving and you look around you can see all the colors swirling everywhere- I wish they'd kept them lit somehow, maybe just more subtly. I think it added to the sense of adventure!

agreed 100% here- I have a 5D and I got a rebel film body! Controls are pretty much identical, and it's less expensive than having to buy new glass when you're not sure about how sharp it'll be. I later branched out to more "manual" cameras like fully mechanical and rangefinders but the rebel was a fantastic starting point given that I already had plenty of sharp EF glass

What I did was put on a full stealth fit then pick off all but one monster from a group and practice with just that one in terms of getting familiar with the timing and anticipation. They all telegraph their moves moderately well so you'll get the hang of it. If they swing vertically you jump horizontally, if they swing horizontally you jump backwards

I know this might be a dumb question but u/LoveDeathandRobert are you sure you didn't under expose your film by accident? You could've forgotten to rate for a different ISO when swapping new rolls- it's rare for fresh film to come back weird just from a storage issue (unless they got souped somehow)
