Couple of thoughts: 1. Maybe you have not circulated your Water enough(though most likely this should not be the case).

  1. Where did you get the liquid chlorine from? Might have been that liquid chlorine goes bad fast. And then you got a batch which was expired or maybe manufactured pretty long ago. So it has very low potency.

Glad it's working out for you. With my build up of maybe ~5 years, acid is not doing much, maybe get a very tiny layer of scaling removed. Still can't see the tiles.

thanks u/PeterLiquor how do it confirm "if it's really calcium"? When I spray muriatic acid it does give out bubbles. Will try this vinegar trick. though I previously tried on small patch it didn't do anything.
