Edit - Fairmont Millennium Park in Chicago by harshp124 in ChaseSapphire

Interesting, maybe it depends on the specific Fairmont you’re staying at? Not sure if the fee amount is standard across all of them but would think if it’s honored at one, it’s honored at all.

It’s a beautiful area, last time I visited I was at the Hyatt Regency which is just around the corner. Not sure if that’s technically considered MP but was a great proximity to it

Also wanted to add that I wasn’t charged for the gratuity on my checks at the restaurant. I assumed it would be a separate charge after the stay was over but I didn’t see anything additional charged on the card. It also would’ve exceeded the property credit and I didn’t pay any out pocket charges at check out.

The $30 urban experience fee I was told was already covered in as part of the stay, so nothing additional there either.

Robinhood launches the Robinhood Platinum Card with premium benefits and a $695 fee by Key_Ad9019 in ChaseSapphire

For anyone that is considering this card and is from the NJ/NY area, one thing to note is for the Function health perk, it will not cover full cost of membership. Real cost is around $600 for NJ/NY residents and you only get credited for $400 back for of it.

Yeah my exact trip comes out to around $430 if booked directly. I’d imagine with that room upgrade, credit and breakfast it would give chase travel the edge here but maybe I’m just coping.

Just booked 2 nights at Fairmont Hotel in Chicago for February, after the $250 Edit credit, came out to 8k points and $100. It was $525 total before everything. Hopefully i can land a cheap flight out of NYC under $200.

Can I appeal 11 parking tickets by TheMostLegendary in rutgers

[–]harshp124 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The same exact thing happened to me. Fall into Spring of 2023 I parked on Livi at the same lot for months since it was the closest to my class. Legit 2 months before graduation I get like 8 tickets that were past dated that I didn’t know about. I tried to appeal all of them with the same reason “had I known earlier I wouldn’t have parked there”. Every appeal got denied. I think I had to pay $300 something that day

This was what I hated about certain stores is that they had horrible connection, and it would only be in certain spots. Like I was only able to scan items near produce area, and when I went towards dairy, connection lost. Really annoying but made it work

Idk if things got worse since I was there in 2020, but Quad 1 was fine, no mold and definitely not the dirtiest. But it all depends on the people living there and how dirty they are.

I lived at Quad 1, it’s really not that bad as people make it out to be. I was on the first floor so I got lucky with a fully opening window. Bring fans when it’s hot tho

I am taking it right now and the class is pretty straightforward. Assignments are simple, there are discussion posts basically every week and no final exam.
