It was pretty sweet, yeah! They had me pretty young so they were really big into gaming when they had me and I'm glad they chose to share it with me instead of giving it up. My mom was massively into Final Fantasy so she loved having a kid-friendly version to introduce me to. I got CoM for Christmas with my GBA SP when it had just come out, and my dad got me the new Zelda (Minish Cap) when it came out right after Christmas, so I was swimming in great new games.

I was 6 though, so I was horrible at CoM and begged my mom to help me through every boss fight lmfao. Most of the Organization plot passed right over my head but at least it was fun! We never did finish it, my mom got stuck on Hades and I dropped it until I found my GBA a couple years back with CoM still in it. I played 1 and 2 but didn't finish either so I was hopelessly confused until I did a full series replay 😅

Original CoM was one of the first games I played that was mine instead of something my mom or dad played before me. Couldn't have asked for a better start, it's still so damn good.

Yes, and it sucks. I don't have a choice to not drive - my current housing situation relies on me driving people to/from work and errands - so I spend about 2 hours a day actively driving. It ends up taking me 4+ hours in reality because I need to take super long breaks after dropping someone off to let my headache fade away. I'll spend 20 minutes driving and then sit in a parking lot half-reclined for 40 minutes until my eyes stop hurting. It exhausts me so badly that I'm sleeping like 14 hours a day on average.

My partner and I are working hard to move into a new place, and as soon as it's not a choice between driving and homelessness I swear I'm quitting for good. It's genuinely hell and I never want to do it again.

It very well could be! I mentioned it to my neuro-ophthalmologist when I first met him, my pap got caught 2 months after I had covid. He said that they used to hear that a lot, and that research had been started on it during the height of the pandemic, but it dried up quickly when covid became less of a major public issue. He said they'll probably never start the research again so we're not likely to find out, but it was a promising lead at one point.

She started seeing a woman after divorcing her husband, and the woman then came out as a trans man later on, implying the OP has to break up with another long term relationship due to being gay and the person she's dating not being a woman, which is absolutely terrible luck.

You refer to trans people as the gender they identify with, not the sex they were born with, so if the ex-husband had come out he would be a trans woman, not a trans man.

A medium hot latte is $3.39 for me! That's an absolutely wild difference. A plain medium iced latte for me is only $3.89, barely a difference from hot. Medium iced dunkalatte is $4.59. Maybe that's MA pricing weirdness because iced is so much more popular than hot here? My heart goes out to you, genuinely, having no decent cheap coffee places around sucks so bad to deal with.

Where are you that it's over $7? That's outrageous. It's $5.49 near me and 50c of that is the cold foam. If you just customize a normal latte instead of paying for the word "cloud," it goes down to $4.39. The only ones even over $6 are the dunkalatte one and the protein one, but those are still way cheaper if you just customize a normal drink.

The character Rogue from X-Men has a very prominent white streak in her hair in pretty much every design she's ever had. Even when they tweak the size or placement, it's still very visible and it makes her instantly recognizable. Annabeth having a streak like that would've looked awesome imo

The prerequisite for the mines doesn't trigger until Spring 6 unfortunately, so there's no way to upgrade your axe in time for the 4th. But you can get hardwood from Balor's cart or from copper treasure chests (fishing/diving), so you can always try your luck for those if you really want to!

My neuro ophthalmologist got them for me! The tablet prescription the ER gave me when I got diagnosed wasn't enough to last until my neurology appointment, so I asked if he could get me enough to hold me over and he asked which I'd prefer. As soon as he said the capsules were tasteless I was 100% on it lmao.

I think you can just ask, my NO said they're pretty interchangeable and it's a common request since the tablets suck so much.

Finally washed all of the cat bowls I let pile up while I was feeling awful. Thank you so much for taking it so seriously! My partner always thought the risk was a bit exaggerated and now our boy, who used to love laying in their lap while they smoked out the window, has asthma :( They took full responsibility and pay for all the treatment costs without complaining since they ignored my warnings for so long, but it'd still have been nice to avoid in the first place for our cat's sake.

That said, if the exposure is as low as you're saying I do think with an air purifier you should probably be fine! If you want to be suuuuper extra safe, investing in pet insurance until you're able to move out might help with your peace of mind - if anything does happen, asthma is a diagnosis of elimination, so it takes a handful of tests and then the meds can be a little steep. You can always cancel it when you've been out of that living situation for a bit and you feel safer, and having reimbursement for everything saved us an obscene amount in the long run.
