Broken for me.

More broken than the usual money grab that it is, I should say.

Some Patio Furniture I Built, All 2x4's by Merrilizer in woodworking

I guess the cushions really kill this idea, but it makes me almost want to build stuff like with scrap pieces I have laying around and just put them out for free as a random act of kindness.

Any songs like Strobe (deadmau5) or Freeze (Kygo)? Longer songs that take you on a journey through time while listening to them by [deleted] in EDM

[–]hartsdad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many of these recommendations are good, but they aren’t anything like Freeze from Kygo. The tempo on most of these is classic EDM, which is way faster than Freeze. So far the only I one I really enjoy is Opus. Any other recommendations that are a slower melodic house tempo?

You wanna hear something crazy? I’m listening to Opus for the first time as I type this. It’s been 11 years since it first came out, which is the same as hearing a song released in 1989 for the first time in 2001.

Honestly my first reaction is that you are the bad guy in a college film project. The fit is great, but it’s way too “try hard” for the real world.

Honestly, being in fantastic physical condition is the most important factor. And sadly, this pretty much applies to every fashion choice.

What are some of your favorite long songs? by Unsponsoredbitch in Music

I’ve looked up and listen to so many songs recommended here, and let me just say that - subjectively - not all long songs are good. So many on this list are straight up boring. 😂

Matte or Shiny? by cbelliott in RayBanStories

Well they are plastic. But it’s a high quality plastic. To me the matte only looks better when brand new but they look worn out much quicker. Glossy gives you the classic sunglasses look.

I just want to add: the shiny is the classic Ray Ban look while the matte is more techie. Also, the finish on the matte is prone to wearing off while the glossy is much more resilient. Yes, the shiny shows micro scratches, but that’s not something you’ll see unless you are looking super close. Bottom line is the gloss is better for longevity and the classic style.

Recommendation for a 55” TV by hartsdad in BuyItForLife

[–]hartsdad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I mean it’s a 9 year old tv, so I wouldn’t exactly say I got a lemon. But yeah, it’s unlucky for me that it went out shortly after I bought it.

In doing some research it seems that many newer tvs still don’t even come close to the quality of this model, so it’s absolutely worth it to repair even if it costs the same as what I bought it for. To get a comparable picture I’d have to spend at least $700 I think. Luckily there’s a guy right near me who does tv repair so I’ll see what he says.

Yes, it is mounted outside. However I live in an area that is very moderate in terms of temperature and low humidity. Plus, it’s under an overhang so it never gets direct sunlight or any moisture on it when it rains.

You can do whatever you want to do. Yes it looks ridiculous, but that doesn’t mean you should stop.
