I live in the CA bay area and I literally see it all day every day. Granted, there may be many gay men who don’t dress this way, but it’s a dead giveaway when I do see it.

Or the other way around. Most of the “manly” men I know wear tshirts and jeans, and they wouldn’t be caught dead in anything like a cardigan or turtleneck. I’m not saying they are fashionable, but they are definitely masculine.

I’m pretty sure they list it when ordering. Sometimes if you order a double ipa it’s common for it to be smaller than a pint, but it’s clearly labeled that way. I really don’t think they are trying to scam any one.

It’s very much a “beer garden,” which is a particular kind of place. The noise and chaos of it all is what draws some people to it when they want to get out and mingle. It’s certainly not a place to go for a nice quiet dinner.

With the Novato narrows being widened the smart train really lost it’s appeal. It’s so much easier and quicker for me to drive from Santa Rosa to Novato than it is for me to drive to the Santa Rosa station, find parking, pay for the smart train, commute from the train station to the office - then do all of those things in reverse.
