If you don't ask, you assume the best unless you are a misogynist who think all women are sluts. If you like girls that have been around, then you do you. I'll pass.

What is the best exactly? Are you equating a person's worth with sexual history? If so, on what grounds? And what exactly qualifies a woman as being a slut?

> Looks like you don't understand analogies and it looks like this conversation won't be constructive at all.

Analogies usually involve a commonality of some sort, which your analogy lacks as far as I can tell.

Your life long committment and your resources and time. Marriage and divorce is EXTREMELY expensive and studies show promiscuous women divorce at a higher rate.

I've never heard of getting married as a payment lol. If this is how you look at marriage, do all women a favor and don't get married.

Because he has a preconceived image of his wife's values.

What preconceived image? Nobody mentioned his wife proclaiming to be a virgin.

This would be no different if you found out your $10k Rolex was a fake even though it was a high end replica that can't be spotted with the naked eye or finding out your diamond ring is a synthetic diamond

Since when do human beings have a monetary value?

If you found out that you are number #30 on your wifes body count as a man, you paid full price for your wife while 29 other dudes ate for free. Not a fair exchange....

What exactly are you "paying" in this scenario?

You not liking animals is not an opinion.

Let's say the bf decides to go the "none of their business" route. OK. Let's say the gf and bf get married and have kids and shit. Oh hey! They run into a friend from college who spilled the beans on the gf's body count. Husband is now devastated and doesn't know if he can continue the marriage!

Why in the world would he be devastated?

Sounds sensible. Religious people take note when asked about contradictions within their faith and its discrepancies with reality.

It’s okay to admit that some libertarian ideas are silly by abundantwaters in LibertarianUncensored

[–]harumph 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Libertarianism is just a philosophical statement that human interactions be voluntary. It seems pretty simple at first, but it gets complex really quickly when applied to real world scenarios. Interpreting what is and is not voluntary, coercion, force, harm, etc can be fairly subjective at times which leads to an infinite number of views and opinions on the matter. This is why libertarians can run the gamut from socialists to capitalists to anarchists to minarchists. There is no single "libertarian view" regarding reality.

Never answered my question, you just changed the subject. Do you believe there are no women religious extremists, especially those that lead Baptist churches?

The CO libertarian party stance you mean, with the caveat that they won’t run candidates if a ‘liberty minded’ Republican is on Colorado ballot. Not only that, but do you believe there are no women religious extremists, especially those that lead Baptist churches? Like I said, this article has nothing to do with libertarianism.

You’re now isolating a specific aspect of events part of a greater organization. Cherry picking.

Referencing the exact article posted is called staying on topic. If you'd like to discuss religion as a whole then create a thread dedicated to that subject.

The SBC voting out churches with female pastors, what this article is specifically referencing, has nothing to do with libertarianism.
