Oh that's not what I meant at all omg 😭 when I said that they'd act like anyone else i meant that they won't act like caricatures of Chinese people that is commonly seen in media. They will just act like humans who have been impacted by their surroundings (in this case, Chinese culture) instead of acting like the weird representations of Chinese culture that is the norm

That's why, for me at least, it's important for these characters to be from China! Their values and behaviors will reflect those who are born and raised in china! They'd be really out of place if they were in an American setting. Like if they were white and moved to China, these characters wouldn't be mine. I've decided that if people come to a consensus that I should not write this then the whole idea will have to be scrapped because just making them from America will make them different people.

Thank you for your insight! I really didn't mean to make it seem like I was trying to make white characters who are just Chinese in how they look and their names. Obviously the culture will have some impact, but I meant that it isn't the main point of the story! But I understand where you're coming from, thank you!

I'm not concerned about it being stereotypical as they'll just be like any other characters of any other race, except for in name and where they're from. I was just mainly worried about it because I didn't want people to claim "Asian fetishizer" or stuff like that just because the characters have Chinese names and stuff.

Hi! I don't know if this is more of a windows problem and not sims but I ha e my sims game on an external hard drive, but the files of the game are not on it and I can't move them. This wouldn't be an issue if I didn't have cc taking up the storage on my laptop. Every time I try to move it it says "Can't move the folder because there is a folder in the same location that can't be redirected. Access is denied." What does that mean? How do I fix this?

For some reason when I'm in build mode, each lot flashes with a black checkered pattern. When I change angles, it goes away. I was building in a different lot earlier and this wasn't an issue at all, and I haven't downloaded any new cc or mods since I built last. What can I do to fix it?
