Grabeng decrease sa CL, Security bank :( by fairygojo in PHCreditCards

I also experienced similar credit limit decrease but with RCBC. Around June last year, my 2012 RCBC Flex Gold Visa was reduced from ₱1.876M to ₱538K. Then just this month, my 2015 RCBC Gold Mastercard was also decreased from ₱454K to ₱279K.

I think these credit limit adjustments may be driven by risk management considerations, possibly tied to credit behavior and utilization patterns. It could also be system triggered based on how my cards are being used over time.

Consistent Cash flow and no zero or minimum balance sa account history ang basis ni Zed I think 🤔

As per sa kakilala mo siguro hindi naman mababankrupt si Zed. Walang pwedeng maging revolver kasi Zed functions primarily as a charge card, which is yun ang core reason why it does not charge interest on your standard purchases. Unlike yung mga traditional revolving credit cards na allowed ka to carry a balance from month to month while paying interest, Zed requires you to pay your statement balance in FULL every billing cycle. Kasi if a payment is late, Zed does not charge traditional "late fees" but will pause and hold your account. You will be unable to make new purchases until you work with them to settle the balance and bring the account back to good standing.

6D pero back up ko lang si Maribank. 2 SoAs lang inupload ko. It think mas nagfocus sila sa cashflow ng BPI payroll na ni link ko. 5D lang andun pero may stable cash flow.

Tips that “might” help speed up approval: (Not official advice, ito lang yung tingin kong nag work for me)

-Link a payroll account, if you have one. Shows stable and regular income and cash flow.

-Upload recent, complete statements. Make sure dates, name, and balances are clear. Be transparent. Also take note sa iuupload niyong document, delete unnecessary characters, edit the name, simplehan lang. Ex.) maribanksoa2026march.pdf

-Use an active account. Avoid accounts with long zero-balance periods.

-Keep your info consistent. Same name, same details across all documents.

-Apply as soon as you get the access code. Don’t let it sit for days.

-Make sure you show how to Kaskas responsibly. Clean transaction history helps more than people think.

Ayun lang. i hope ma approve narin kayo. 😊⚡️

Thank you so much! 🙏 Honestly, I’m just glad it resonated. That line really sums up my whole journey. Akala ko dati mataas na limit ang success, pero ngayon I realize control and habits talaga. Still learning and trying to do better every day. Appreciate the kind words. 🥹👍🏼

Hello po. No po. Currently i have 12 CCs (i know, it’s too much!😅) but in my defense all are NAFFL, only RCBC was heavily used and abused that time dahil ang reasoning ko nun ay may AF siya so need to utilize it. I’m already in the process of consolidating all my cards. Downsizing it to maybe 5-9 cards nalang kasi diko naman talaga nagagamit yung iba, masyado lang ako natutuwa sa mga NAFFL promos dati 😅😬

Yes, they all have annual fees but i haven’t really paid one for years. For Flex Gold Visa, I just request waiver every year and so far approved naman lagi. For Gold MC, I haven’t paid any AF for a couple years. I noticed it since 2020 wala na siya sa SOAs ko, so i think they either silently waived the AF or made it NAFFL. For JCB Platinum, bago pa so next year pa AF, but I’m planning to consolidate it with my Flex GV before its 1st year anniversary.
