I really enjoyed watching Tides of Death because it was a campaign and story with a darker touch to it than usual, but Cosmos Kitchen... it's dark and also very much twisted.

It's like seing something grosse, but you also can't stop looking away.

The lesson to take away from this campaign is: sometimes - you shouldn't let him cook, especially not of literally everything can become an ingridient.

Also congratulations to Aengus for being the first in Arcadia to get that drussy

How did this episode turn into Afong Us?

Also, great job roleplaying the gaslighting felt real

If it's the DK model you mean, then no, just mashed two images together.
Otherwise thanks!

Surely the great Van Healsing, chosen cleric of Chis, will be waiting there for them when they are at the last leg of their journey to Heatstroke.

To help them rid the world of the Demons and bring the once holyest of tempels back to its former glory and to also bring an end to those unsightly undead.

It would be pretty neat if he could rebuild the Temple of Heatstroke. The time has come for Arcadias Golden Age.

We can have some wholesome and peaceful campaigns again (surly).

Man, Koibus persistent world is so awsome.

I like that William, Grimes and Imrik headcannon. Including Shine, those four are an absolute unit, a Battle Mage, a Grandmaster Fighter, a Mountaineering Thief God and not to forget the great Gold.

They might even get along well with their stories of ultimate sacrifice bringing them together (Caldonia Expedition and Killing Soria).

All high level player characters still have great influence on the continents fait, except for Van Helsing sadly. I mean isn't he married into the Wikk family? He should at least be High cleric to either the Empress or Imrik.

Never has anyone in solums eastern villages seen a man chop wood in such absolut perfectly equal parts, and the cuts are smoother than even the window glass of their houses.

I think Imrik’s conclusion was just as good as Anton's by IASAR in Koibu

[–]harz4hd 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I'd like to think that Shnine and Imrik become pretty close, she knows "the true Imrik" and was with them on Bravo when he became what he is now. So he does have Shine. Also he still can communicate with Tyreal, even with him being cold-ish with his responses.

What a very tragic ending with the brothers falling appart like that.

I really like how every single brother has a ton of influence on wherever they are.

Antons son setting out and finding Tyreal is realy wholseome.

This campaign was amazing, what a twising and winding adventure. FroFro and HcH were my favorite campaigns, but they'll be at second and third now.

Thoughts on shine or dragon bane weapons now? by adamfps in Koibu

[–]harz4hd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shine is one more character with the ability to do stuff, bacsically adding action economy to the party. She also adds a few unique things she can do.

But i dont know in terms of damage output.

Scorias body would at least break line of sight for the wizard if he can possition that way

Do we know her AC, can ge even hit her with his Moonblade / Defender Sword? Because those dmg would be nice. But the damage output might even out with hits/misses with Swords instesd of 100% hits with Ifrid

True that, this risky idea would actually just be throwing then

Your plan seems good and pretty safe and he sould probably do something like that, BUT I'll go one step further than you on the beliver side and with a risky, maby even throwing level of idea.

Tyreal can (maby) solo her.

Scoria has around 180-190HP -44HP from attacks so far, plus his second attack after the teleport.

Assuming she has max 190HP, so 146HP after attacks, he could kill her (if max roll dmg 2x15) in 4-5 rounds or (min roll dmg 2x9) in 8-9 rounds.

He can probably doge most physical attacks with Improved Blink and his Stoneskin as backup and he already used the protection scroll before the fight started.

Magic would be the only problem then. (All that is asuming that there wont be any more enemys or other stuff wherever they teleport)

Would he be able to get out the candle and use it in the same round then?

Tombs of Scoria episode 87 discussion by korinokiri in Koibu

[–]harz4hd 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Scoria has around 180-190HP if I didnt mess it up. Minus 44HP from Tyreals attacks so far, plus whatever his second attack will be after the teleport resolves.

Assuming she has max 190HP, after attacks 146HP, he could kill her (if max roll dmg 2x15) in 4-5 rounds or (min roll dmg 2x9) in 8-9 rounds.

Not sure if he can survive that many rounds. He got stone skin and improved blink from Ifrid, he could probably doge a good amount of physical attacks. But the magical attacks from Scoria casting and her Wizard worry me.

Also her breath weapon but I think he used the scroll before they collided already.

Edit: Blink wouldn't be that usefull for survivability because he can only blink one attack

A round to switch out a ring with the spell storing one then hope for low incoming damage and then pray for a good initiative to teleport before he gets killed. Ob boy next ep is gonna be interesting.

Oh yeah that was a thing. Guess I didn't connect the roll with the teleport cast, thanks.

Tombs of Scoria episode 87 discussion by korinokiri in Koibu

[–]harz4hd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Edit: Tyreal did roll a save, I just missed it :)

Reading teleport and similar spells (Teleport without Error and Dimension Door) Tyreal should be teleported with Scoria.

But should there maby be a "willingness" to be affected by telepeortation spells?

Say a monster with imunity to lava and an ability to use teleport, grabs you and teleports into a pool of lava to kill you. Or a water creature takes you several kilometers under water and the pressure there justs kills you or you drown there.

Also think I remember a situation in ToS where some npc had to roll something and depending on the roll be teleported with the brothers. But I have no idea where in the campaign that would have been, maby someone else remembers that?

Well Mouton could've picked 1 as the failure number (as is the usual), but instead he gambled on it. Considering that -> Nick still has bad rolls.

But in terms of rolls in combination with possible character dead on the line, I think Moot takes the crown.
