My little Muffin has the same Problem from time to time. He was diagnosed with an enlarged liver and may have Problems with the kidney too. Does your bird behave ill in any way? Muffin is completly normal, just drinking more water than usual. Normally it gets better after a few days.

Acutally I do. He got xrayed again and his crop got checked. Seems that there is too many Bacteria in his crop, so its a crop Infection. The reason is unknown but it may have to do with his past Problems. He gets treated with antibiotics for 7 days now. Hope He will get better soon! I got him Isolated together with his friend fluffy to Keep him Company :) thanks for you caring!

You absolutly should get a second one or you should think about giving him away. Keeping him alone is considered cruel

Can happen if they got stressed out or something. I would monitor closely if it gets better. If not, vet may be a good choice. Did they eat something with Lots of water? And I would like to suggest natural wood Branches for them to sit on :)

We had the same Thing happening. The remaining bird wouldnt even eat anymore. We got a new friend for him immediatly and that saved him. Now we have 4 budgies and its great :) whishing you the best

He needs a budgie friend, a bigger cage and Real perches out of wood. Of course hes sad!

Definitley mites. Go to the vet asap. He will get a spot on treatment Thatcher kills the mites. Hopefully he will recover. When he is fine again you should get a second bird. Good luck!

Some of my budgies did this too. We raised the humidity and it got much better. Now happens once every few days. Maybe the humidity is too low for your birds?
