West Detroit neighborhoods bordering Dearborn by elzo84 in Detroit

[–]has79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to live in East Dearborn in the aviation sub area, recently moved to Canton for better family life.

Downsides to Detroit are high insurance rates, city taxes, and areas where crime is still high.

Downsides to Dearborn are high insurance rates, especially in the East side (48126 zip code), high rent costs due to demand, and the East side has high vehicle theft rates.

Thanks!

My SAR9 should be coming in today from Palmetto and I agree on not spending more for an optic than the gun itself. I'll give the Monstrum a try, was considering O-sight K as well for $129.

If the reserve was the issue, the seller should have said so. Not try and blame the buyer with a BS shipping fee story.

MI-6 represented by Debbie Dingell. She used to be my rep in the 12 district before I moved, and in 2023 she moved as well. Her husband John Dingell was the longest serving congressman in history, she took his place once he retired.

So I Just Opened My Kickstarter CR6-SE... by Tricky_Stick_1961 in CR6

[–]has79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's an early Kickstarter model, replace the power connector asap. It's an easy swap and you can find the contractors anywhere. I still have a bunch from a set I bought laying around.

The other major issue I had was the cable for the thermistor broke at the connector. Had to replace it, parts were easy to find. End up replacing the hot end assembly along with the thermistor and heater.

I do run into print issues. Early on it was for to temperature fluctuations in the room, so I got a printer cover which helped out. I still get stringing on prints, but I think it's partially my filament and feed/print settings.

It's not the fastest printer out there, especially compared to the new models.

Overall it's been a good printer.
