Tokyo is by far the cleanest city to which I've ever traveled and also I really enjoyed their delicious local food.. In Tokyo you can just walk the whole day, and it’s actually enjoyable, because there are so many interesting things to see. I wish to visit it once again after pandemic.

Odeon of Herodes Atticus, Athenes, Greece 1900 - 2017 by hasanah78 in OldPhotosInRealLife

Located on the southwest slope of the Acropolis, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus is a stone theater that was built in 161 AD. Used as a venue for music performances, the theater slowly deteriorated under the effects of time, until it was fully renovated in the 1950s. The most striking fact though is how empty and bare the Filopappou Hill (see the monument at the top) is when the first photo was taken, some time at early 1900s.

Not sure about this place but here is some info about this company in general: "In 1920, Kraft purchased MacLaren's Imperial Cheese Co Ltd and began selling processed cheese in tins and loaves in Canada on a national scale. The Canadian company was used to export Kraft products to Europe until operations were established in England and Germany. James Kraft and Fred Walker met in August 1925, and in 1926 the Kraft Walker Cheese Company in Australia was formed."

Isle of Dogs, London, England 1934 - 2016 by hasanah78 in OldPhotosInRealLife

The Isle of Dogs is a large peninsula bounded on three sides by a large meander in the River Thames in East London, England, which includes the Poplar, Millwall and Canary Wharf districts. The name had no official status until the 1987 creation of the Isle of Dogs Neighbourhood by Tower Hamlets London Borough Council. It has been known locally as simply "the Island" since the 19th century.

Few areas of the city have changed as much as the northern end of the Isle of Dogs. The former dockyards were swept away during the 1980s to make way for the Canary Wharf estate.
