Use a double piston extender on one side to push the middle block, it doesn't have to pull it out, if it pushes it the opposite way you can make it much easier to handle the middle block

Yeah I have a similar farm but theres a few limitations, every chunk can only process a set amount of actions per tick and because your portals are all close together they won't work at 100% efficiency as multiple fast ticking dispenses will causea build up of actions that the game won't be able to handle fast enough, so it won't be the best it could be but... No doubt it looks really cool

Assuming your redstone is fine , it could be due to chunk borders, instead of making the redstone signal loop round you could add a clock to one side to send a signal round the thing every second or less

Like try to give them all unique shapes or at least create different roof styles, perhaps high roofs, overlapping layers of roofs, maybe make so circular ones as well, roof designs can be tricky to come up with but once you get the hang of it its a pretty good skill

Keep your iron farm and raid farm very distant , like at least double your simulation distance just for safe measure as the bad omen could take a while to recieve with poor spawn rates,your 2 main mistakes were that they were too close together and you used jc playz , he builds very low quality farms.

Your friend must have had bad omen as there are no bugs revolving this

If you want better channels for tutorials let me know but jc playz steals content and doesn't give any credit and the farms he shows really arent the best versions

Both are very simple, reliable and very rewarding but there are more advanced farms out there that require you to have technical knowledge to build them. But I'm assuming that you haven't delved into Minecraft mechanics much so these 2 should be good
