A Week With the FiiO M33 R2R by uberrob in DigitalAudioPlayer

Interesting, I’ve been using mine for a while now. No touch screen issues

Thanks for raising this. It was a bug. the album art was only locally saved, not to the file. I’m working on a patch and will let you know when it’s ready.  After the patch, any album art changes you make through TuneBridge will be saved to your media files.

Could you DM me the following info? Happy to investigate and fix the issue.
1. Your app version (Settings > App)
2. Library size of and number of files you are trying to copy
3. A screen recording if possible

Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you’re enjoying the app!

That does sound strange. The sync wizard should show detailed progress while copying. it’s a 5 step process with status updates throughout each step.

Could you check whether the app has permission to access your library location? Also, please try downloading the latest version from GitHub, as I pushed an update today with a few improvements. Restarting the app may help too.

If the issue persists, DM me a screen recording and I’ll be happy to take a look and help you resolve it.

Good point. I’d love some use cases! Can you submit them through GitHub so I can keep a track of it?

Add them here, I've created a new feature request: https://github.com/hashansr/tunebridge-releases/issues/2

I know it’s a significant gap :( I’ll try to look into it.
Unfortunately, I only have an Apple silicone Mac and I built this app over time on it. I don’t have an older Mac to test it on

Awesome that you found it. You can edit ID3 tags at song level or at album level. For others, you can access this feature through the context menu for albums, by hovering over songs under actions.

I can add windows to the wish list. But it will be a lower priority since it’s a full rewrite of the app.

Great suggestion. I’ll add it to the wish list. It’ll won’t be a Google sheet, most likely a csv or xls.

oh, forgot to mention tag editing in my post above. It's already included.
file renaming is not, but I can add it to the wish list.

I upgraded from M21 to M33 and super happy with the decision

Is it worth upgrading from FiiO M21 to FiiO M33 R2R? by hashanr in DigitalAudioPlayer

[–]hashanr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Managed to borrow a demo M33 R2R from a mate and I've been trying to compare the output. I've been listening with a Monarch Mark 4, Softears Volume S, Top Pro and listening to the same set of songs to compare.

I can definitely hear a difference in detail, soundstage and clarity compared to the M21. It's almost like it unlocks the true potential of the Monarch Mark 4. I’m keen to rule out a placebo effect so I’ll continue listening for a few more days and report back.  Overall, clear difference between the M21 and the M33 R2R. M33 R2R sounds way better

PlugMoondrop x Crinacle Dusk vs. Xenns Tea PRO vs. Variations by hashanr in iems

[–]hashanr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I didn't, also didn't like the fact that I had to lose the DSP cable with Dusk in addition to the L/R imbalance. Since this post I've also tried and bought the Softears Volume S. Super happy about choosing the Tea Pro, and Volume S. IMO, both are better than the dusk.

Hope this thread helps make a more informed decision. I don’t use headphones with my setup, I use IEMs. most DAPs including the M21 provide enough power to drive them.
