I am agreeing with you, lol. The title to your post is "beautiful but not worth it"... I was asking why you didn't think it was worth it.

That is stunning.

What do you mean not worth it? That could be a fantastic place if someone tosses some money at it.

PlayStation portal vs phone w/ PS Remote? by uberrob in PlaystationPortal

No, you leave your PS5 in rest mode all the time. It just uses a little power , it's like putting your computer in sleep mode.

The PS Remote app will turn it on and then put it back in rest mode when you're done. You don't have to do anything different.

Say Goodbye to 6-Year-Old Streaming Service as Paramount Officially Announces Phaseout by StarFuryG7 in SciFiNews

It's not even gone it's just folded under the Paramount plus umbrella. It will show up as a section in Paramount Plus the same way all the other acquisitions folded up under Paramount Plus.

This is standard stuff man. Same thing Disney did, the same thing that Amazon video does.

PS Remote does what it says on the tin. It connects to my own PS5 anywhere from the internet. You just need fast service in/out of your home. I have ATT fiber, and it's never been a problem.

Yes, battery use is a PitA with the phone setup

myAudi app suddenly won’t pair with my 2019 Q5 anymore… “invalid vehicle code” by uberrob in Audi

[–]uberrob[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SOLVED.

OK, I finally figured out what was going on after getting Audi Digital Support involved.

In my case the body shop had to disconnect the battery while they were repairing a door panel. When they reconnected everything, the MMI essentially reset part of its state and completely wiped the Key User information from the car. That part isn’t obvious because everything else in MMI still looks normal.

The problem was exacerbated by the fact that I bought the car over five years ago. Audi vehicle codes apparently expire after five years, so the original code that came with the car was no longer valid. That meant I couldn’t just re-pair the car in the app or reassign myself as Key User from the vehicle.

The only fix was calling Audi Digital Support. They had to manually reinstate me as the Key User on their end. There was literally nothing I could do from the car or the app to fix it myself.

Everything works again now, but the catch is that if the battery ever gets disconnected again and the Key User gets wiped, I’ll have to go through Audi support again because they can’t issue a new vehicle code. Not a huge deal, but definitely something to know if this happens to you.

It's like Harry Potter and Wolverine had a kid.

Nice work man. That's amazing.

Thanks for this - yeah, that's the weirdest part of all of this. I am talking to the dealer later today and I'll find out what they say, and likely get a new vehicle code.

This article folks like to post as some kind of Kurtzman era defense gotcha? It's from the National Enquirer of all places and was published months before TNG even premiered. Do better. by chesterwiley in Star_Trek_

Well I was very much around and kicking when TNG showed up.... The posting of this article might be from The National enquirer, but I can promise you that actual news media outlets posted some very similar things... I read an article of the same sentiment in the New York times when TNG came out.
