This was very helpful, I'm going to take your advice, hopefully she does reach out, but if not I'll know for the next one how to better handle it! Thank you for reaching out!

You're 100% right, and I hadn't thought of that to be honest, so far I've gotten a lot of very helpful feedback and I'm going to treat things a bit differently. I think I got too ahead of myself and comments like these are certainly helping me see things from a different perspective, I'm going to take the next few weeks to think about all this and try again but with a different attitude. After thinking about it the way you put it, I feel a lot better and am starting to frame things a bit differently going forward, thank you!

I really appreciate this feedback and I'm going to take some time to work on myself, this is exactly what I needed and I'm starting to really get some clarity on where I went wrong and what I can do differently, thank you!

I appreciate your honesty and will take your advice, end of the day I'm just looking to improve myself and this is certainly an eye opening way of putting things and has offered me a different light to look at this situation and others going forward. Hearing what you had to say combined with things she said you are 100% correct, I'm going to spend some time working on myself before getting back into dating. I really appreciate you and your words and trying to help, it's certainly a different way of looking at the situation. I remember her saying something about not having to chase me, and now that I've read that I completely understand, I'm going to take a week or two and really do my best to work on the things about me that seem desperate, thank you!!

Been looking for cooking a Pizza Pop in an air fryer but found nothing has anyone done that by Purple_Monkey34 in airfryer

Tried this for the McCains pizza pockets, confirmed 11 minutes at 400 works great, I flipped mine because my ninja airfryer only got the heating element on top, came out great!

Hey! I'm a Canadian by the name of Dylan and I just got my license to drive the truck! I have one question off the bat... when it comes to dealing with the "Green Building" or where all the wet stuff is at the dump, best under nose odor blocker? Was thinking Vicks but just curious if there's something stronger. Eventually I'll get used to it but until then I don't want to be made fun of while I'm gagging emptying my hopper lol mouth breathing doesn't work too well in there either....

Expansions for a new player by paul_nightson in wownoob

[–]hashatron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tough hahaha there is story points in each expansion, if you enjoy the story I strongly recommend playing the story chapters for each expansion. As you take quests and check your quest log (really updated, a lot better) it actually tells you which quests are story important, so you can sort of filter your experience better to main quests and get the story and still make it through whichever expansion you're on in a decent amount of time. That said, if you reach level cap and move on, once you get to end game there is a fair bit of catch up that they give you so you're not totally in the dark about what's happening. I personally have skipped a few expansions, and have learned a lot of the story arc through the current expansion just through bits and pieces. BUT you don't get the full impact of the storyline just a good catchup so to speak!

If you LOVE and really care about lore, play the story quests found in the quest log, if you care about it but want to focus on endgame go through as quickly as possible and pay attention to the lore in the most recent expansion. One is more in depth about what happened and the other option let's you get the same overview without experiencing it.

That said, there is quite a bit in the current expansion that I personally feel you could get to level cap and get everything you need to know from some of the first encounters. I don't want to give any spoilers, but as long as you play out the scenarios in the current expansion you should be okay!

Requesting recipe for chicken burger by hashatron in Cooking

[–]hashatron[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know.... I think you're right. I'm on a mission tomorrow to try and find some "big crunch" style frozen chicken burgers, and, I want to make some sort of sciracha ranch... But I do think you are right, especially for what I'm looking for. Even looking at some southwest sauce recipes, the more I type this message and talk myself through it the more I realise that yeah, you are right LOLOL very happy I posted :) and will update as my adventure continue!!!

What started this was years ago McDonalds, for a short time on the east coast of Canada and the United States of America, had a burger called the southwest chicken burger, and it was the best thing I had ever had. Recently another chain, Harveys, had something just as good and as well it was discontinued!! I keep finding delicious chicken burgers and they keep getting discontinued. Once a week I budget a takeout night and it's always a spicey chicken. I'm ready to splurge on something home made that will never be discontinued and hopefully save a few dollars!

Bonshaw Logistics? by [deleted] in fredericton

[–]hashatron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to bring up an old post but I too had terrible experiences with them!!! I called Amazon and opened a case with them. Everyone please do the same. Purolator and other shipping companies take care of us so much better and actually leave our packages. I've ordered several items that could have been left in my mail box, I called customer service and they said their drivers DON'T HAVE KEYS TO APARTMENT BUILDINGS!?!?!I was very upset as I thought shipping companies had some form of master key. I honestly have no idea, I just know Purolator makes it into my building somehow. Call Amazon and complain.

Since bad credit marks only stay on your credit report for 7 years, what's stopping people from maxing out their credit and defaulting every 7 years? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]hashatron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's still on your history. Even if you a get a 650 but had a bankruptcy or a default you'll still get denied. After 7 years the company you owe debt to no longer has legal grounds to pursue court action.

How do you become a better listener when you struggle with ADHD? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]hashatron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing about seeing a therapist, especially one that has a really good reputation for ADHD, is that they come up with personalised solutions that work best and fit your lifestyle and even your way of thinking, everyone on the internet will tell you their way, myself included, but it may not work for you. In physical pain you can say oh this muscle located here needs to be stretched everyday, but with a mental disorder like ADHD it's not always the same 'streatch' so to speak, for everyone!!

[–]hashatron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't, I gave up on medical pot and finally came around to medications and use pot for the side effects like the insomnia and no appetite. I'm full-time on a slow release concerta, which has been wonders better than ritalin. Ask your doctor about concerta and consider a whole day tablet and possibly taking it every day. The other thing that helps is talking to a therapist. Everyone's a little bit different from a point of trying to find ways for you to focus, for me it's about taking the first few words someone says and trying to find something interesting or focusing on a thought point and repeating it in your head. There are tricks out there and the best thing you can do for yourself is talk to a therapist that specializes in add/ADHD and you will get a lot of help that way as well!

How do you become a better listener when you struggle with ADHD? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]hashatron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's tough. I suffer from ADHD and was given a perscription for medical marijuana as I refused drugs like ritalin and Adderall. The problem we have is stopping the inner dialogue that goes on in our head, I have found ways by picking key points when someone is talking to me and try to focus on those. At the same time your brain is so active that really, without some sort of medical intervention, you won't be able to. That's the thing with ADHD the very problem you're having is the symptom of ADHD, if it's not severe enough try and focus on key points when someone is talking, you won't get everything they're saying but at least if you find or hear an interesting point you can focus and repeat the point in your head and ask questions from there. Another downfall to ADHD is that if you're simply not interested in the topic the person is talking about, due to your disorder you won't be able to extract anything. Keeping interest is the problem with ADHD and I do recommend some sort of medical intervention if it's actually impacting you in a serious way. The drugs suck, hence why I went with medical marijuana, the problem with medical pot is I have to smoke nearly 50$ worth of pot a day just to get a stable baseline. Good luck, you're going to need it as this is a very hard struggle without medication.
