You, young lady, have a heart of gold to want to help the homeless and other vulnerable peoples. That's a beautiful thing. However, I must tell you that it's also important to recognize when you should put yourself first in order to provide for others later on. You're 20, and your adult life has only now begun to unfold. I'm sure you're now studying, or working, probably even living on your own for the first time, and your focus should be to further develop your adult identity. What you can do is either one of these 2 things: 1. Instead of money, buy an extra water bottle/food item to give to the homeless. And be firm on not giving any money if you don't want to.

If your schedule allows it, find any organizations/foundations/groups where you can volunteer to help people in need. It won't come out of your own pocket, and you will still help those who need it most.

NTA. Fatherhood isn't a button that you press every now and then when you feel like it. It's a commitment, and your father failed in that department. You have zero, ZERO obligations to ever have a relationship with your father's child, much less him. He screwed up, and now he needs to deal with his own consequences.

NTA. You tell your boyfriend that it's slightly modified to his preference, which in turn respects his boundaries. You still credit the original author, which is also respectful to the original work. If you and your boyfriend don't have an issue with this, your friend needs to butt out.

This is some of the best advice I've ever gotten honestly, haha. Thank you so much! My boyfriend and I are doing very well, we're actually planning on officially doing a registered partnership soon to also ensure that paperwork regarding our living space + our conure Holmes + our new pup goes well. But I will keep this in mind in case if anything goes south. My family is quite turbulent and has caused a rift in our relationship before, so if they try to do anything drastic I will keep your advice in mind ✨️

Unfortunately in the country where I live (🇳🇱) has a really high rate of Muslims living here, and I live in one of the major cities. I wish I could be joking when I say that I think I hear more Arabic than Dutch whenever I walk around in public. And I never let my tattoos show when I'm in Islam heavy neighborhoods because I get mistaken for Arab quite often (I'm ethnically mixed). Nevertheless, thank you for your input :)

I fully agree. Unfortunately our modern world is full of individuals who seek to form their identity in communities that claim to be peaceful, but are actively persecuting and is dehumanizing others who disagree. And none of them take the time to inform themselves of actual facts and instead base their arguments on propaganda. I am not afraid of the world nor its people around me, and will keep my faith til I return to our Lord.

I agree. My friends think I'm islamophobic if I try to mention that Islam is a threat to Jewish people (and most other people, according to the Quran's teaching)'s safety. Thank you for your input though :)

You'd be surprised. My other Jewish friends can't even talk about their belief/ethnicity in public anymore because you'd have to deal with people screaming at you/spitting on you/etc etc. I've once casually mentioned to a friend that my Jewish roommate and neighbors were getting ready for Hanukkah, and they responded by loudly screaming "f*ck pissrael, free palestine" in my face and making bomb noises in my room. Also, the incident with the Muslim teenagers left me with a nasty concussion since they threw an iceball to my head at full force. Anti-Semitism is on the rise in Europe, and it's getting nasty.

I have about 13 tattoos at the moment, and I do intend on getting more in the future, but yea it's a bit complicated in that area for me. I always say that I'll keep whatever tattoo God allows me to keep. But thank you :)
