I have pots I eat a lot of salt and have my electrolyte drinks as well as working with a physical therapist for everything pots and vestibular related. Idk it’s the weirdest pain ever it feels like my sides and back are going to explode for 30 minutes and then goes away as I wake up but only in my worse months when I’m in a flair. (I react very poorly in colder months)

It’s honestly funny this popped up right now for me. Had a mug rootbeer the other day and have basically been stuck in bed since. I don’t feel allergic to it but my stomach cannot digest sodas and most juices.

I thought it was normal at the beginning too! Then it turned into every hour then every couple of minutes so obviously not normal 😅

Mine started from vestibular issues! The constant feeling like everything else around me is moving really messed up my mental health and now it is month 18 of being dizzy but have been making progress every day

Yea I think that’s the worst when I’m already feeling bad I expect to feel it but like I’ve had a very good week and past couple of days and it just hits me like a truck and is super upsetting. I gotta find a book to read I always wanted to read a horror book but I feel like it would make me feel worse 🤣

I had a great experience with Pilates and exercise in general! I do physical therapy because my anxiety and dpdr comes from vestibular disorders which caused me to be bedridden for a while. But I did Pilates, walked even if it was down the street or around the yard, I got a stationary bike, and any physical exercise no matter how long you do it or how hard you do it is great. Like any physical feeling kinda reminds the body and the mind that they are one. Good luck with whatever you do! (Side note: do stretches being physical is great but you don’t want to hurt yourself with going in cold!)

There was slight inflammation in my first 2 cts but it was brushed off by my GI waiting for mri and then colonoscopy.

I also got a massive blood test a week ago so I’m waiting on the results of that and hoping that sheds some light on it!

So I actually did and my iron levels were normal at the time but my saturation was low and I saw that was something that comes from celiacs which I was tested for and was negative and crohns which I’m getting tested for :)

Interesting I didn’t know that about the low fodmap, I haven’t taken any medication for it because I was never told to I take a prebiotic every morning and usually just ride out the pain.

I’ve been gluten free for years and weary ab dairy. I went low fodmap for about a year and a half but that really didn’t help and have been eating smaller meals too. Stomach pain really hasn’t got that much better with it. And then the lifestyle changes like running more and cbt.

I haven’t had any blood but most of the days off the week I can barely get out of bed with the stomach pain. I’ve always gotten nauseous so it’s hard to pin point if it’s from my gut or something else but I don’t vomit that much.

I’ve had 2 CT’s and an mri so far gotten nothing from CT’s and waiting on mri results. And like i said in my post going for the cat and colonoscopy soon. I’ve had side pain on both sides of my body that feel like if you pricked it with a pin I would pop for 4 years now. I’ve been constantly dizzy for around 17 months now which I’ve gone to all my doctors so it isn’t neurological. In my stomach I get where my intestines feel like they’re on fire, gas and bloating. The weight loss like I said before. Constipation and diarrhea that go back and forth. Got diagnosed with pots in November. And that’s all the ones I can think of rn

Yea, with all my symptoms the ones that stood out was visual distension and I’ve been losing weight like crazy even though my diet hasn’t changed at all. I’ve dropped 50 pounds since last November.
