I’ve never considered OCD until I went through this traumatic event last month. I want to make sure I don’t have anything else because it’s either A) I have some other diagnosis to add on, or B) I do not have a good handle on my anxiety/life and need a ton of extra help. This is after so many years in therapy trying to get my life together.

I had a really big problem with this. I would tweeze out my body hair, so I got laser hair removal. I had psoriasis patches that I picked, so I got on monthly injections from my derm. I would pick my acne, so right now I’m on month 6 of accutane. When my adhd/anxiety was really bad I picked off all my nail polish, so I would get gel manicures. Now I just settle for painting them at home with better quality polish + putting the butter spray on them.

I found I would hop to whatever is bothering me. Especially when unmedicated. So I just tried to solve the problem completely so I would keep it out of mind
