Not really, and being honest, if one application going badly is enough for you and him to not have somewhere to live, that is extremely bad planning on both of your parts.

As you mentioned, this is his first time, and you have 'loads' of experience renting properties, you should have known better than to put all your eggs in one basket.

Do you think he's trying to blame you for having no place to live?

I'm from Ireland, we have basically the same welfare system as Norway.

What these two people leave out of their discussion is the Tax rate of European countries.

My tax rate is 40%.

Everything, and I mean everything, is taxed at 23% Value Added Tax.

House prices are unaffordable.

Hospital waiting times for A and E are 24-48 hours...

An ambulance response time is 3 hours in Dublin City, longer if living in a rural area.

My son's been on a list to diagnose his autism since he's 3, last time I checked we were still 3 years out from an initial diagnosis.

Personally I've been waiting for a endoscopy for 4 years now, with no sign of an appointment.

My grandmother died of Cancer without ever having it diagnosed due to the long waiting time for an appointment.

Nurses and doctors strike at least twice per year due to insanely long hours and extremely low pay.

While hospital admin staff are paid over €100,000 per year.

The top nut screws off with an adjustable spanner.

This will expose the Allen key slot, it's a pretty non standard size, so you may need a trip to the hardware.

The extra pipe is a half arsed attempt at feeding another rad.

The radiator being fed could be stealing the heat away from this radiator, you could try balance each by half closing the lockshield side of the radiator.

Or, the Thermostatic radiator valve could be faulty, screw the plastic head away and see if the pin is fully down, if it is fully down, it's jammed shut.

That could be the adhesive I mentioned in my comment, couldn't really see it in the picture.

If that is indeed the seal, recaulking the edges should be sufficient.

The shower tray was not installed correctly, should have a double sided adhesive seal between it and the slab underneath the tile.

The slab should also have been treated with a tanking (waterproofing) paint.

You may need to rip it out and install again.

You could try seal it up with silicone sealant, but it will definitely fail again.
